Tropical Spice Garden

"Buying ticket with discounted price using student ID over the counter, only RM 20 for whole tour. A wrist band ticket, mosquito repellent and a map will be provided. Remember to request more and try to cover up every part of your body, I was bitten by a bug and swollen for several days.

Best parts:
- Drinking Station
They provide different beverages every day that made from different herbs. The brew I tried is the mixture of panda leaves, lemon grass and Stevia which are nice cool refreshers on a hot day.
- Fish Pedicures
It tickles and is comfortable when the small fish bites off your dead skin from feet. Feeling much cleaner after the fish pedicure.

Plants lovers or nature enthusiasts should try to visit here."

"Jungle Gym at Bangsar Shopping Centre is a delightful large indoor playground that promises endless fun for children. National Zoo Malaysia

"There are two main parking areas (entrance A- main entrance & entrance B - which is near to the show stage). The show is 11am and 3pm. I would recommend you to park at entrance B so you can spend less time finding for the stage.

The zoo is big and be ready to walk! Bring your fan, umbrella, snacks, water to spend around half a day here. Your ticket is valid for one whole day.

Most of the animals were decent except the rhino was thinner than usual. For the price, it was decent;)) the sea lion show was cute. Some of the animals were pretty active when we visited.

I hope more visitors can visit zoo negara so they can have more funds to manage and maintain this place well"

Galactic Laser

"I recently visited this laser tag center and unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. While the in-game system seemed to work fine, the overall experience left much to be desired. As it was a laser tag center, you would expect the place to be very futuristic, but it lacked that modern touch and had a rather dated appearance. It didn't feel inviting or exciting like other laser tag centers I've been to. The equipment, including the guns and vests, were frequently sanitized, which is commendable given the importance of hygiene. However, I couldn't help but notice that the gear looked old and even broken in some cases. This not only affected the aesthetics but also raised safety concerns. It's essential for laser tag centers to maintain their equipment in top-notch condition to..."   View

Allan's Water @ Fraser's Hill

Liz Foong
in the last week

"The water is really beautiful and breathtaking with the forest surrounding it. The place is well kept too.

The place is prefect for both children and adult. No entrance fees required.

Adult can either do fishes and ducks feeding or water paddles (RM10 for 2 adults for 15mins).

Kids can do feeding which cost RM2 per pack for the feeds. It is really enjoyable to do the feeding, come and experience it urself. The ducks are really cute and the fishes in the dam is really huge. Light snacks and drinks are available at the only counter there.

You may hang around for awhile or stay longer sitting at the benches looking at the beautiful scenery.

You may take a very short stroll to the old flying fox station on the right too to view the other side of ..."

Zoology cafe

"Really interesting theme, atmosphere with various types of animals, even more exotic ones, to name a few - raccoon, prairie dog, various types of reptiles lizards and snakes.

Good for the kids if they can behave to not disturb the animals in their enclosures (sometimes they may be sleeping or they can get frightened), they get to experience various types of animals without the need to purposely go to the zoo.

The coffee was really good, with a nice touch of latte art.
Ordered some fries to start with. Really generous on the portion and we get to share with our baby.

For mains We had spaghetti Thai style with fresh prawns, and butter salt grilled salmon. They were so good that we dug in quickly totally forgotten to take pictures!
Portion of our food was..."

Hin Bus Depot

Hung Hao
in the last week

"This place is one of my favourite places to visit every time I’m back in Penang. It is a retired bus terminal given a new lease of life as an art gallery, community space and flea market.

There are numerous cool coffee shops and cafes insides (with Halal options, no less) and it would be oh so perfect catching up with an old friend with a good cuppa inside.

They host art from local artists- and a lot of the times, there are a ton of different events and things happening. I went on a Saturday not expecting much activity, but to my surprise, boy was it bustling.

Sunday is the best time to visit as the flea market and vendors are out in full swing. Some stalls sell wine, vintage trinkets, plants, books, stationary, clothes, art, and a lot of collectibles.

"Had the worst indoor playground experience here. The place is small, and we were not informed that they had a class party of at least 20 over kids. The kids were left unsupervised by their teachers let alone the staffs over there. Informed a male staff that the kids did not allow my kids to get into one of the play area and some other kid pushed my kids a few times at their steep stairway but all he could tell me was to give my kids some balls to play with in the ball pit. ???. He could barely understand what I was trying to convey and did nothing about it. Place has not much to offer anyway and is very very steep. Dangerous for young ones should they fall forward and roll down. Very narrow too. Poor ventilation. Will not recommend at all."   View
