What to Expect?

Allan's Water is a small lake that sits in a little nook before Jelai Highland Resort at Jalan Ampang Road, next to Edible Garden. It was turned into a park for recreational activities and paddle boating from a reservoir that fell into disuse over the years. Originally a water collection and supply during the colonial hill station era, FH Allan, assistant to chief infrastructure engineer FW Mager, was the architect of this project.

Open daily from 9am till 4.30pm (with a lunch break for staff, closes at 7pm on weekends), the park is a popular tourist attraction that gets crowded during public holidays. Surrounding the lake are thick droves of trees and shrubs that emit a natural calm over the environment. Birds fluttering among the tree tops are common sights, along with the occasional squirrel and monkey.

Activities:

- Paddle Boat for rental. RM8 ($2) for 15+ minutes.

- Fish feeding: RM1 per cup full of fish pellets

- Vegetable plucking in vegetables patch next door. Pluck your own carrots.

    in the last week

The water is really beautiful and breathtaking with the forest surrounding it. The place is well kept too.

The place is prefect for both children and adult. No entrance fees required.

Adult can either do fishes and ducks feeding or water paddles (RM10 for 2 adults for 15mins).

Kids can do feeding which cost RM2 per pack for the feeds. It is really enjoyable to do the feeding, come and experience it urself. The ducks are really cute and the fishes in the dam is really huge. Light snacks and drinks are available at the only counter there.

You may hang around for awhile or stay longer sitting at the benches looking at the beautiful scenery.

You may take a very short stroll to the old flying fox station on the right too to view the other side of the dam. Super beautiful.

Flying fox is not available at the moment.

A great place to enjoy the serenity and fresh air of Fraser's hill, there is a fish pond with a ton of fish which you can feed them. Also a paddle boat activity RM10 for 15 mins.

Visited this place over the weekend. It's quite a small place and the view is serene and nice. The old English architect building is refreshing. Nice place to relax from the bust city life of KL.

Allan’s Water basically small lake at hill top. Where are lot of fish in the lake and got few goose and duck as well. There is a small shop that sells some snacks, drinks and fish food.

Fish food only RM2 one small pack and you can feed the fish.

You can rent that small paddle boat as well. Just RM10 per boat for 2 person (15 min)

This place is well maintained and clean.

Recommend, one of few place that you can visit in Fraser Hill.

A nice little lake to chill in the cooling weather, and also a fun place for the children and young couples. Feed the fish and the ducks ?, or enjoy paddle board around the lake. Spending few hours here is ideal
