Introduction

Ever wonder what a bird’s eye view of Penang is like? The Rainbow Skywalk and Observatory Deck offer stunning seamless views of George Town and beyond. A stunning view at night too!

What to Expect?

As part of the The Top complex, the deck is located at George Town’s highest point, the open-air Rainbow Skywalk is at Level 68, on the rooftop of Komtar tower, offering visitors the thrilling experience of walking on air 816 feet above sea level. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned Observatory Deck at Level 65 also features a glass walkway that lets you watch the world go by below.

Also on the rooftop, Coco Cabana Bar & Bistro offers great tapas food and cocktails as well as a great view. Enjoy the feeling of being on the top of the world.

While here, complete the experience with a visit to the Avenue of Adventures featuring 7D Discovery Motion Theater, Jurassic Research Center and more. Don’t miss out on the Tech Dome, the city’s one and only Science Discovery Centre.

    Great experience.
    Although the mall is pretty old, the top is managed well.
    Skywalk was amazing, you will get a good view of Penang.

    The most worthwhile place in Penang to go. Although pricey but it’s offers amazing views of the city and great place to relax. Management needs to improve on services.

    Must go if you're first time coming to Penang. My parents love it. The 360 scenery of pulau pinang. Went there at 6pm - enjoyed the sunset skies turning to dusk and the night view ( stayed until 8.30pm).

    Beautiful location to take in the sights of Penang. Once at the top, you may enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the entire city. The entrance is on Lebuh Tek Soon, and there is a lobby directly beside the car park. Get to level 6, and you can buy your tickets from there. I would encourage anyone who has never been to the TOP come at least once! My children and family love it!

    The visit of the observation Plattform and the Skywalk was amazing. We visit at late afternoon and it was not crowded. On the viewing Plattform are free seats and comfortable sofas. There was no time limit only for the outdoor Skywalk it’s limited for five minutes.
    The event management offers a good discount for seniors (+ 60).
