Introduction
Taman Wawasan is a beautifully landscaped park next to the lake in the heart of Putrajaya. With tracks sidelining the beautiful lake, it is a fantastic place to walk, jog, cycle or just relax.

What to Expect?
The park covers 137 acres. On the top of the hill in the middle of the park is Wisma Putra (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs) which is obviously not open to the public but it is a photogenic building and its clock tower sounds off various chimes and music every hour.

Taman Wawasan has plenty of hills and stairs for a nice workout and joggers may also find it a good spot to carry out their hill session, in the otherwise flattish route around the core island of Putrajaya.
This is also part of the cycling/jogging route to tour the entire Putrajaya Presint-2 island, where cyclist can continue on from Taman Wawasan to make their way around the island - passing through the likes of Anjung Floria, Presint-2 Mosque, and Wawasan Bridge. The entire island-route would take approxinately 15KM.

5 months agoTaman Wawasan Putrajaya is a hidden gem in the heart of Putrajaya. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, as it's a less crowded park compared to other parks in Putrajaya. The best place to park your vehicle is along Jalan Tun Hussein behind the SPR building, making it convenient and accessible. The park has several entry points, providing multiple options for visitors to access the park. The track is approximately 1.5 km, providing enough space for jogging, walking, or cycling. The park also has clean and well-maintained toilets, making it a great place to spend a day with family and friends.
