Introduction
About 5km away from the town center, this is one of the better honey-themed attractions in the highlands, this working apiary has landscaped flower gardens where you can watch bees buzzing around hibiscus flowers and there's a little museum explaining how the sweet stuff is produced.
What to Expect?
Entrance is free. Only the indoor kids' maze carries an entry fee (adult/child RM3/2). There's a huge attached souvenir shop in which to pick up flavoured honey by the stick (RM1), jars of honey (from RM10) and all manner of bee-shaped gifts.
Expect to see:
- Honey Bee product
- Souvenir Shop
- Mini children's playground
- Ample of parking bays

a week agoTourist trap with lots of stalls and a bad garden. As part of a Tour it was a very disappointing experience. I suggest the Half Day Tour that shows you only the best spots: Mossy Forest, Tea Plantation, Brinchang. But check out also the Sam Poh Temple on your own, it’s worth a visit.

2 weeks agoSo underrated!! We saw loads of lovely bees flying in and out of the hives totally undisturbed. The garden was also lovely, albeit a little dated, with lots of lovely plants. We also saw some butterflies and the gift shop has some affordable local items.

a month agoFree admission for a quick walk and appreciation of bees! It's really the staff here and the products they sell that makes this place shine.
The walk itself was quite self-guided. I wish there were more signboards or something to tell us detsils about the bee farm history and honey making process! I also only saw some caged rabbits which was hard to see since they were enclosed in such a small unstimulating environment.
Only the front has aesthetic backdrop if you want good photos! Further in has many beeboxes where you see the little fellasnin action! Quite hard to navigate around since there are many staircases and steps. But one particularly steep staircase has a beautiful flowering tree hanging overhead so it was worth climbing.
The honey products they sell are so yummy! Staff opposite the maze were really helpful in telling me about the products and let me try a wafer. Chinese ladies beside the cafe also offer free 1 stick for every 10 sticks bought. -

3 months agoAlot of shops selling souvenir, local veggies, local ice cream in top few floors. Didn't have the chance to walk down to the bee place as I'm using stroller. Entrance fee is free!
It's pet friendly place but cannot let pets walk on the ground, need carry or stays on stroller.
Suggest to put in bag because there are alot of staircase to go down to see the bees. After buying their own produce honey ? then we left the place due to we are carrying the stroller -

6 months agoI would recommend visitors to Cameron Highlands to drop by and visit this bee farm. It is educational. Nice bee farm, free entrance, staff very polite.
The farm itself is free to walk around, I suggest getting a honey straw for 1RM and enjoying it while checking out all the bees in the farm. You are able to walk around and see them coming in and out of the boxes. Nice way to spend 20 minutes.
