a week agoWe had a great time time at Desaru Fruit Farm!
I'd wanted to do an ATV tour and then add a walking tour if we felt up to it, but when we realized it was very similar in price to the Jeep tour, we just went for it.
Our guide was amazing - very knowledgeable and entertaining. My kids really enjoyed being around him and he was great about telling us about the different fruits and showing my kids how to pick them. We ended up with a full basket of fruit at the end. My kids also really enjoyed the petting zoo towards the end of the tour....lots of bunnies, goats, etc.
After the tour, our guide brought us back to the cafe and served us a full plate of fruit with watermelon juice.
I'd highly recommend a stop here! -

a week agoBooked the rm598 open top jeep tour which lasted around an hour. Price includes tour around the farm, plucking of fruits (guava and some other fruits) and visit to petting zoo. Zoo has rabbits, goats, chickens, emu, and 1 python.
Pros: don’t need to walk and carry your bag/fruits. Personal tour guide, quite informative. Learnt about some new fruit I never heard before. Cool experience on the jeep. Fruit plucking is a rare experience for city folks like me. Petting zoo rabbits are very cute.
Cons: Jeep can be very hot if it’s a sunny day. Fruit plucking involved getting on and off the vehicle so those with young kids or old folks might want to opt out. Lots of mosquitoes in some areas of the farm eg the guava trees. Got bitten many times. Petting zoo abit dirty but overall still acceptable as not too smelly.
Special tip: ask for the black Jeep instead of the yellow one. Black one is newer and cleaner. -

3 weeks agoAwesome place. Ate lots of fresh and good fruits. The tour to the fruit farm was interesting, learnt a lot about different kinds of fruits and plants and best of all we get to feed the animals and fishes. We get to visit raccoons farm and alpaca farm which was very eyeopening. The ATV ride was one of the greatest highlights of the farm, first time trying it and it was very safe!! Highly recommend this place for small getaways

a month agoBig crowd on public holiday. Good guide, Ms Pink. She explains well about the types of special fruits, herbs. The mini petting zoo was a hit for the kids. Price is slightly high but go ahead if you are in Desaru.

11 months agoHighly recommended! So worth it!! Fruit farm n petting farm with 1 portion of a variety of fresh cut fruits RM30 an adult.
We arrived early, though was crowded but it was well established. We didn’t need to wait. An hour of walking tour is enjoyable, when we reach the petting farm, the kids love feeding the rabbits and mini rosters, goats, goose..we love the experience as it was systematic, well run!
