a month agoDisplay and structure is Great, what's even better is the array of books that are available. All reading levels! Great selection. Their coloring books for adults and kids are a plenty. Only downside with Book Xcess is their online shopping site, all the time; no stock ?. Hopefully the next time I try to purchase online, the books would be available.

a week agoWhen we first discovered the BookXcess chain, my family would average at least a dozen books per shopping expedition - even more if my son was joining us and choosing books for himself to read. And to be honest, we will buy him any and every single book he wants to read now just to encourage him.
But then BookXcess management decided to cling wrapped every single book in its Setia Alam shop and suddenly parents couldn't look inside a children's book and match the unknown contents to their child's requirement.
Suddenly the 100+ books we would buy from Bookxcess a year, dropped to 1-5. All because the management of BookXcess decided to lock its current and potential customers out of the books they wanted to buy.
Staff claim they will unseal a book if a customer asks them but my wife and I might look inside 20-30 books just to chose 12 to buy in each expedition and the thought of carrying 30 large books to the counter for busy sales staff to open and show us, is totally ludicrous.
BookXcess Sunsuria is now an extreme example of management stupidity and management failure.
When loyal customers wanting to buy adult and kids books by the dozen, walk away from the shop and in reality, Sunsuria Forum Mall, you know the company has badly misjudged its customers. As a perfect illustration, we walked into a different bookshop last weekend and paid full price for a dozen new children's books - all of which we were able to look at inside before we purchased. -

2 weeks agoThis bookshop located at the car park level, the entrance is at the ground level, with the spiral staircase down to the car park level.
This place is clean, tidy and with good display of books. The environment is very quiet, nice for reading. There are a few reading seats at the middle of the books shop. There are many sections of books - history, biography, economic and etc.
Most of the books are overseas published but there are local published books too.
The books prices are reasonable app. RM20.00....this is real surprise as compare to other books shop prices.
The service is ok, ok and ok. There is only one sale counter with one sale girl....?????
There is one question is the books displayed on the walls at the ground level seems easily be taken away as there is no one guard them...there are a few exits but no guards too. I am puzzle on this security aspect of the book shop.
