Farm In The City

"Been here twice with different company and everyone loved it! Extremely family friendly place, saw many families and kids in stroller here too. It is an educational and fun visit as we can interact with animals in a close and safe space.

The farm has label for all the animal creatures - Type of species, scientific name, location, diet, prey and lifespan. Some animals are kept in cages and guarded by a glass wall, while the friendlier ones are roaming within their quarters. Animals where you can take safely take pictures up close are llama, sheep, tortoises, birds, iguana dragon and rabbit. The pony bites and the llama may get slightly aggressive when they see you are carrying a bucket of feed so you need to be careful.

One of the things I was concerned is the animals o..."

City Karting Go Kart Shah Alam

"A bit of mixed feelings with this place. I had fun driving the "regular kart" a few times, but it got pretty old, especially since they let the faster karts on track and they constantly lap you. They have an interesting rule of achieving 1:20 lap time or below before you can qualify for faster karts. Weight, time of day, your actual skill and condition of your kart will not be taken into account for this, and they are strict. (I know, I was less than a second off and they still wouldn't let us take the faster karts). You should consider this before you go out, as you may not get the experience you expect. Otherwise, the place mostly seems well managed with nice staff. I had one kart squirt fuel all over my leg so that was a bit frustrating, that knocked it down to 3 for me."   View

The Waterway Villa

"We had 3D2N at the deluxe villa for RM1500++. From the published images, we expected a roomy villa. We travelled along the unsafe narrow roads (with frequent large vehicles around the corners) to reach the resort, however we were disappointedly greeted with a small room. The toilet was clean but the beds were not. It was not conducive for sleep because there were bedbugs which left us with itchy red bites on forearms and legs. On top of that, there were loud construction sounds in the middle of night. The food was not ideal because they served the same simple food everyday (nuggets, veggie, beans, watermelon, fried frozen titbits). We also observed that overnight food (we recognized the same soggy noodles and watermelon slides from the day before) were served, which was very off-putting..."   View

"we came around 4.30pm and found that this place is open till 6.30pm for weekend.
one things need to highlight that try to park inside. NOT to park at parking lot behind as the bridge connecting to this place is not accessible. no doubt here has more parking lots available. imagine you have to walk out the parking lot under hot sun and walk along the main road in order for you to go in by main entrance. very frustrated such poor arrangement for an tourist spot.
entrance fee is RM5 per adult.
Here consider good spot for you to take photo shots."

Ara Damansara Park

"Pavement will get mossy and slippery during raining season due to bad design and material used. Dangerous for the elderly if not careful. Always avoid walking on pavement if possible as the slightest patch of puddle may be very slippery at common spots doesn't matter how good your shoes are.

At some areas, there is also mosquito infestation. Parking can be a pain too due to limited spots during the evening. You might not want to park illegally by the road side as cars are speeding past the main road all the time and can be dangerous.

Otherwise it's a perfect park as it's fairly huge and has greenery, lakes and a place to take a breath of fresh air in the morning for folks in the vicinity."

"This bookshop located at the car park level, the entrance is at the ground level, with the spiral staircase down to the car park level.
This place is clean, tidy and with good display of books. The environment is very quiet, nice for reading. There are a few reading seats at the middle of the books shop. There are many sections of books - history, biography, economic and etc.

Most of the books are overseas published but there are local published books too.

The books prices are reasonable app. RM20.00....this is real surprise as compare to other books shop prices.

The service is ok, ok and ok. There is only one sale counter with one sale girl....?????

There is one question is the books displayed on the walls at the ground level seems easily..."

Klebang Beach

"Do Not Expect to come here for swimming or water activities. This area is mainly for leisure strolling, picnicking and siesta with variety of souvenirs and snacks sold along the roadside.

Good clean place. Take a stroll along the beach or take a shade under rows of trees for leisure time with family. Quite windy. Modest sea view overlooking the strait of Malacca. Not suitable for swimming or water activities though. For foreigners, advisable to wear hat and put on sunscreen lotion, unless you purposely want to get tanned.

Food & Beverages : There are many stalls on the roadside selling variety of delicious snack (churros, coconut & manggo shake, takoyaki, popia, keropok lekor, chesnut, corndog, etc). Some sell heavy meals for lunch as well. Most of the stalls accept eP..."

Botanical Garden (Taman Botani)

"Always an impressive place to visit - probably the best or certainly one of the best maintained place of its type in Malaysia as perhaps you would expect given the location. Lots of different areas to walk around and every time I've been I've discovered something new as it's a very large area. The lake is of course a beautiful feature that dominates visitor attention but it's worth exploring away from the lake as well.

Great place for everyone from an individual in search of a stroll to large family groups. Entry is free and there's lots of parking - there's not masses of choice for food and drink though there's some vending machines and of course the seafood restaurant but I've never been there. I've only been on a weekday and it's always been very quiet I assume on a weekend ..."

"Those who do not like to drive or do not have cars, as long as you know how to call Grab car, or if you like to walk like how I do all the time, then you just take KTM to reach the main Kuala Lumpur station. Then, you use the walk-way underground tunnel to walk opposite the train station. After that, you just follow your GPS and you will be able to reach this Museum Planetarium. Opposite this Museum Planetarium, it is Museum Royal Police of Malaysia, which you should go and see. Then, if you have extra time, you can also go to the world largest bird park and butterfly park to have a look. Museum Planetarium and Museum Police are free entrance. Bird park and butterfly park need RM35 and RM16 per entry. These fees are for local adults. Foreigners need to pay a bit more for the ticke..."   View

The Waterway Villa

"Went to this place last weekend. Me and my family enjoyed our time out here. Anyway, I have both positive & negative things to say about this place.

Positive - Clean resort, really calm, peaceful and quiet place. Worth the money. Breakfast, tea time & dinner were included in the package and that is a plus point as it’s quite far from town. Food were decent, served buffet style. Taste is ok decent enough to fill our belly. Nice pool and slide. Will definitely return. You can but Musang King at the resort itself for RM30 a Kg which is fair.

Negative - The toilet was leaking in our room(room 702). Water will spill out from underneath when flushing. Thank god its clean water. Shower water pressure too strong and can’t be controlled. Also there’s a couple of friendly dogs t..."
