Bukit Mertajam Recreational Forest is a great place for health-conscious people as its green environment is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking and jogging.

The hill is famously named Cherok to'kun. The telecomunication tower is located on the top hill and be supervise or guard by army. While here, visitor can try some delicious famous food here called "mee kuah ketam" at the intersection to cherok to'kun.
