A beautiful experience for everyone who loves nature, butterflies and entomology in general. There are so many species of butterflies that you'll definitely get some great pictures. A professional camera is recommended, unless you have a good camera for macro pictures in your phone. But eitherway you'll get some great pictures, many of the species will stay still even if you get closer.

I highly recommend it for kids too, its very fun and educational. And on the way out they have a great museum of bugs and arachnids for everyone to learn and enjoy.

For a better experience, get as early in the morning as possible.

We went to the KL Butterfly Park to take the kids after we saw Butterflies in the London Zoo. It was a really cool experience, some amazing butterflies flying around in close proximity in a very well constructed habitat that almost mirrored being in a jungle or forest.

Price was very reasonable for 4 locals but I believe its more expensive for foreigners, but not by a lot.

Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because we couldn't have a snack for the kids as no outside food or drink allowed, possibly for the sake of the natural foods provided for the butterflies and to avoid littering etc.

There was also a small museum with live insects and beetles which was pretty cool and unexpected too.

All in all it was a great morning out and the kids enjoyed it.

Quite a nice place in the morning but butterfly seems to fly to the top of ceiling during this time. Pond with koi fish is incredible. Small place but if you walk slowly catering all the walkway you will feel there's a lot of path. Toilet can be improve. Clean but I can say old. Educational part is interesting but definitely need revamp to get fresh look. Overall nice experience with kids.
