What to Expect?

Danga Bay (Malay: Teluk Danga) is the largest recreational park in the city of Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Nestled in the south-central part of Iskandar Malaysia, Danga Bay is Johor Bahru's first and largest mixed residential-commercial development. It stretches along a 25km scenic waterfront facing the Straits of Johor and covers an area of approximately 450-acre.

Located along Danga Bay’s beach is a family-friendly recreational park with a playground and plenty of outdoor space.

For a relaxing tour of the area, visitors can board a tram ride at just RM 4/person.

Danga Beach Theme Park

In the vicinity there is a fun fair (mini theme park) that consists of 20 different rides including a roller coaster and musical carousels. There is no entrance feeds, visitors may choose and pay for each ride. The price ranges between RM4 to RM10 per ride. It has many thrilling and fun slides for families like Jumping Frog, classic pirate ship, teacups, Nemo ride among many others which gives an enthralling experience to every visitor.

You may go on crowd favourites like the carousel at a price of RM2, bumper car for RM8, balloon ferris wheel for RM4 without any long wait. There’s also a pirate ship for those who like a bigger thrill.

Other than theme park facilities, there are stalls that sell food and side products.

Shopping Mall

Pristine for a shopping spree, Danga Bay houses boutiques, retail outlets and Danga city shopping mall along the coast. Apart from this, there is a zoo, Danga World Petting zoo where one can spot and learn about exquisite species of fauna, like lizards, tiger cubs, lions, elephants, snakes and birds. Do spend an evening dining on the cruise or at the beachside witnessing the gorgeous yellow sunset.

Beach

A day here isn’t complete without a relaxing stroll along the beach by the crashing waves. Danga Beach spans all the way from the theme park to Country Garden so that’s a long stretch of sandy shore for some beach bumming.

Country Garden Danga Bay is a serviced apartment available for rental.

Dig your toes into the sand as you admire the sight of boats sailing across or the tall buildings on Singapore’s side. If the weather is good, you might be able to catch a nice sunset.

Absolutely love it. Kids friendly rides and they enjoyed to the fulkest. Mascots will be walking around to take pictures. Each rides is about 8RM so calculate all the rides and purchase one short so that you don't have re queue again to purchase the tickets.

The fairgrounds were spacious and not really well-maintained, providing less safe and some enjoyable environment for families and friends. For those who preferred a more relaxed experience, there were gentle rides like carousels. The variety ensured that everyone could find something to suit their preferences. The fairgrounds were littered with some trash, and the restroom facilities were poorly maintained.

It was okay. Rides seems under maintained.
There is a cafe to eat and drink but the live band is very loud. Considered cheap for a fun fair. The marry go round is a bit warm from all the lights. I didn't go on any of the rides. More catered to kids then adults. The little kids car ride seems interesting.

Definitely one of the places in Johor to visit for families with kids.

The rides were not new or well maintained but packed with loads of fun and entertainment value. Prices are reasonable too.

Surrounding the entertainment park are small eateries and more fun activities, like e-bike rides and fishing games.

Definitely enjoyed ourselves here. But do please take note to spray mosquito repellent, as there are loads of them there too.
