Introduction
Perpustakaan Raja Tun Uda, or Raja Tun Uda Library, is a modern, 6-floor library overlooking a park and lake.
Besides the great views, the well-equipped library has good facilities including spacious and comfortable workstations, a cafeteria and a popular children’s zone.
What to Expect?
The RM70mil Raja Tun Uda Library overlooks a serene lake where lotuses bloom and has a cool kids section plus five storeys of books and study areas.
Certain areas are shoes-off zones and they didn't skimp on the sofas – most of them are very comfortable. Also available: a 6D motion cinema, a Mac computer zone and a gym.
The park behind the library surrounds a lake and is lined with trees and plants labelled with informational plaques, making a stroll here quite interesting.

a month agoIt’s been a while since I last came here. So happy to see so many new things inside the library ? will always be my comfort place to stay in silence ? if only my house was nearby, I would’ve come here everyday. I hope they can reopen until 9pm like before.

a month agoLove the atmosphere in this library! Don't mind to spend hours here. Through my observations, many book collection on the bookshelves are quite old. But it's pretty interesting to discover that.
Then if you start to feel tired and bored looking at the books, you can soothe your eyes with awesome greenery view outside the library.
The parking lot is located at the next block and will be charged RM2 per entry. If it feels far to walk, you can ask for buggy ride services. -

2 months agoBeautiful, modern and clean public library overlooking a nice park. Ample of parking with minimum charges of rm2 per entry. It has a cafe that serves decently nice food at reasonable price.

Parking quite far but have the buggy service to bring u till the main entrance..
Have many floors.. And lake nearby the library..
My first time here and i dont know i need to pay rm1 for using the plug to charge my laptop till the security came to my table and ask me whether i already pay or not ?

The kids area awesome! Brought my kid here today for the last week of school holiday.. They got few activities for kids such as cooking class, computer class, music class, etc. Need to pay according to what activity u wanna join.. -

4 months agoParking very ample but you must pay RM3 is not mistaken. This library is one of must go place if you in Shah Alam! Really beautiful architecture, clean and well care! Outside they got lake, inside well lot of books :D. Need to take off shoes inside library area but they provide woven begs to put our shoes. Also have kids section, piano, musollah etc. Very good place, kudos!
