Kuala Gandah National Elephant Conservation Centre

They'll start the show at 2.30pm and it will end at around 3.30pm. Don't expect an elephant ride or any other show like the one in Thailand as these elephants are trained to be released back to the jungle, not to join circus. If you plan your trip early in the morning, make a stop at Deerland first (few km from the elephant sanctuary), then proceed to the elephant sanctuary at around 2pm to catch the show. That would be a great outdoor trip for your kids!" View
A'Famosa Water Theme Park

However I noticed the park is due for a major upgrade due to its age. Metal structures were rusty and corroded. The conveyor belt that transported the raft back up to the tower was emitting a loud squeaking noise indicating lack of maintenance. And the water was dirty. All this told me the management was cutting corners and maintenance and cleanliness suffered. On the plus side the staff were friendly and helpful and there was ample parking.
FYI there is an abandoned army armoured vehicle just outside the entrance. Worth a look if you are into military stuff." View

Nice to have a short walk to take photos and admire the seaside sceneries.BEWARE of the macaques wandering at the car parks, so it's adviseable not to hold food in you hand, or stay away when you are eating. These naughty macaques would climb on top of your car or even windows asking for food. They are a bunch of macaques spoilt by some tourists." View
LEGOLAND Malaysia

From the moment you enter, you will be greeted by huge play structures and Lego play areas in the lobby, and on its side, a little stage where the awesome crew and Lego characters will host (very well-received) performances for children multiple times a day.
It is a whole experience built around children, and they know it. The child-sized sinks and toilets, multiple play corners everywhere, disco lights in the lift that make all of them dance, performances, thickly carpeted floors throughout the hotel, play-themed hotel rooms with decorations built from Lego and an extensive Junior menu, all of which make them feel so welcome and know that this is a place for them. (Special shout-out to the leftmost dancer / crew member in the photo here, we saw hi..." View

The rubbish bin are well managed and there's a cleaner making sure they are pick every hour. As for the waterfalls, if you want a majestic view, you have to climb further in the woods. They are breathtaking. If you are too lazy, then the nearest spring/river are for you. Normally these spots are the popular one. You can barbeque here too." View

I do wish some of the other bigger animals (ducks and tortoises) had bigger or separate enclosures. Felt really bad for the butterfly that was trying to fly out of the pond, maybe a big stone would be nice for the insects to climb? Indoor was air conditioned and had other insects, reptiles, and amphibians. Spent a few hours walking around, make sure to bring water, it's pretty humid in the outdoor enclosure" View
Tropicana Aman Central Park

Nestled within the beautiful Tropicana Aman East Lake community, this park offers an ideal retreat for both exercise enthusiasts and those seeking a serene atmosphere to spend quality time with family and friends.
One of the park's standout features is the presence of charming huts scattered around the area. These huts provide an excellent space to gather with loved ones while enjoying the company of each other and feeding the fish that reside in the park's serene waters. It's a heartwarming experience, especially for families, as children can interact with nature and learn about certain aquatic life.
The park's location also makes ..." View

This is my experience on 2nd June 2023,
Got shouted out of the library for not wearing appropriately to their dress code (my partner was wearing skirt). We've been there plenty of times without problems in the past, in fact we were there since the morning and just came back from dinner. We would have just left if he simply told us to, don't have to be shouting really.
Security is rude and aggressive, would not recommend for girls to go alone as it could've gotten physical(he was in our face and knocking our car even when we're leaving). Will write an official email to..." View

Was lucky to be able to get next slot upon arrival. The huskies were all well groomed , fluffy , adorable , well mannered and healthy. There were Estimate 9 dogs. At the end of the session, the care taker arrange a photo taking session for each group of patrons professionally. There is a area to wash yr hands too, toilet is well maintained. My boys totally enjoy the play time with the huskies. A trip surely worthwhile. ?" View
Mossy Forest

a month ago"This is a great place for a walk, but it is not well signposted. So, some hints:
You can park at the museum on the main road and walk to the entrance: walk through industrial estate and start up the road. You’ll see on the right a stone shed and a couple of wooden planks (bridge) to it. See photo. Walk on the right side of the shed into the wood. Walk starts with a sharp climb. Some walkers use gloves here. Wisely. At the top you have two options: right will take you to a summit with a flagpole. Left will take you to the mossy forest proper. Do both. Path to the flagpole is very short. Come back and dive into the mossy forest. It is a longer walk, mostly flat but with a few up/down slippery parts. That is where you fine the real gem!" View
