Sunway Lagoon

If you go here make sure you're have time to do everything. If you're a couple then you need at least four hours. If you're a family of four, I would recommend going early in the morning. It's probably best to get the quack express ticket if you can because it really does help speed things up! Overall, really nice place and definitely worth visiting." View

A couple of concerns I had were for an ostrich which was repetitively pecking it's metal bars and seemed to have lost feathers (I think it was stressed) and it's enclosure was too small. Some of the emus in the deer enclosure and some peacocks also seemed to be thin on feathers which could be a sign of stress. The bunny rabbit enclosure is very full, I think there may be too many of them in there and they only have concrete floor, they didn't seem to have any toys for enrichment. I think some more attention is needed to control the number of animals in space and to ensure they have enrichment/space/exercise. Another caution around kids/people potentially feeding the animals the wrong foods or touch..." View

The camel was tied up in a very confined space with no room to even lift his head up. I saw the workers there giving injections to the rabbits and Guinea pigs and just throwing them into their enclosures (Again very small cages). And I mean they actually threw them in their cages. Saw another worker kicking a goat just for fun. I don’t even understand why are they running this place if they don’t have any intention of caring for the animals. Very sad to see the management here." View

The tour guide was also very knowledgeable and easy going. We definitely gained new knowledge from there. Amazing collections of antiques from records, vinyl player, instruments and etc. We had an awesome time interacting with the instruments which we have never touched before. I would definitely recommend friends and families to come visit when they’re in Penang!" View

Overall, it is a nice place to come since it has several facilities like open basketball court, place for kids to play, mini outdoor gym and many more. You can also go walk around the iconic Elmina bridge and enjoy the view. The only reason I give it a 4 star coz there are crows and a few people feed them and didn't clean the plastic bags and stuffs. But it is quite minimal coz overall the places are still in a clean condition. Would love to come again next time!" View

During these two hours, we actually only covered a very small area of the park. The tours spend a lot of time on two 'highlights': the fishing farm (which was an incredibly sad and ugly place) and the feeding of the eagles (which is considered disruptive for the entire eco system, but everything for tourism, I guess).
It's a shame these tours are so directed towards 'easy and entertaining' tourism, when there is so much beautiful nature and are so many intriguing animals in this park. I wish the management of the park would pay more attention to the natural state of the fauna and flora, and have tourists respect and admire it." View

Recently Taman Tugu started introducing Sunday Living History Events. They host people who were/are part of shaping our nation. This Sunday, it was a group of military veterans who played a significant role in countering the bloody Communist Insurgency." View
National Museum of Malaysia

3 weeks ago"Probably one of the worst “national museum” I’ve been to.
There was no a/c.
A lot of the writings are tampered over, making me doubt the credibility of this museum. Some translation aren’t accurate.
Some exhibition had holes and gaps, not surprised as it is not well maintained.
There were only 4 different exhibition in the main building. Felt like it was a very quick summary of Malaysian history, nothing enriching. I’m pretty sure Malaysia’s history is richer that this.
Quite disappointing. Do not recommend to go, especially if you’re a foreigner. Go watch a documentary or read a book to learn more about Malaysia’s history!" View

3 weeks ago"The place is fun af and there are so much things to do here, yet I wouldn't recommend those who are not active in sport or not strong to visit here as many of the games are physically demanding, especially those games that are very fun to play. I especially don't like the fact that we need to queue up for every games. Some games take tons of time to queue up yet you can only play for a limited time then you have to queue another time to play it again. So it is recommended y'all to visit on a weekday and it was also cheaper. Also, plan your trip so that you can play here as long as possible as the games might not finish all the games in 3 hours during a busy day here." View
