Chocolate Museum Kuala Lumpur

4 months ago"Normally I will give four to five star for such experience. All the staffs were very kind except the cashier (woman) who handle my purchase she was not polite. I am not sure what is her name but I am can find out from the receipt. This could be a perfect trip if not because of her.
I would like to extend my special thanks to the boy who dressed up as a chef who was in charge of chocolate making process who volunteered to help my son through the chocolate museum 2.0 as my daughter refused to go in so I must company her outside unlike the cashier the chef is very understanding.
Why would a customer who bought rm300 worth of chocolate refused to pay rm3 entrance? I already explained to her and all she insist was buy ticket buy ticket, I just ask her will the exit be the..." View

Couple: not afraid to express and not camera shy
Booked on Klook was really helpful but if you pay by walk- in, unless you're not a student it'll be more expensive.
The exprience is more fun if you go with a group of friends or significant other as you might need them to take pictures or make dramatic poses that looks realistic in photos.
Do check out the galaxy and VR rooms, pretty dope for the overall price and you get to take a photo, USB or CD of the memory (Gotta pay extra for that of course)" View
Raju's Hill Strawberry Farm

4 months ago"We had a great time at this 3rd generation family-run establishment - Definitely returning!
Initially uncle had closed the strawberry picking area early because of previous customers being demanding and rude about the size and quantity of strawberries available, which are understandably smaller and less plentiful during the rainy season. We assured him we wouldn't mind and ended up with a basket full of smaller but still sweet fruits and an overall wonderful experience.
Sweetness of the fruit depends on your ability to pick only the ripe ones - Go for dark reds with no green or whitish bits.
The amount you pick and what's available for sale at the counter (by weight) is the same, which is fair. The family does their best to provide good service which we found ..." View

The smell, the sight, the cold, the atmosphere, they are just perfect. I recommend this place to those who come to Penang for first time. You’ve never been to Penang if you haven’t been here. The toilet is also very clean.
Suggestion: Wear comfy shoes (trekking or running shoes) if you come here. I wore my Asics running shoes and I do not have problem here. If you’re afraid of heights, please do not go to Curtis Walk. Curtis Walk is just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G." View
Countryside Stables Penang
eh?
4 months ago"Overall horses and donkeys are very well taken care of. They are tame. There's this one very tame happy black fat pony inhaling hay all around the place. Some ponies and donkeys are free to wander around. Except 2 ponies were quite fatigue and they covered their eyes with fabric mesh. Maybe have some medical condition. The horse that I rode (brown with white diamond marking on forehead) got some hairless patches on its head and neck.
Suitable for first timer, kids and family bonding. Cute ponies.
-Clean toilets
-Overall clean area, workers were quick to swipe the floors.
-Located deep in underdeveloped area, narrow road. Need to read gps correctly or you will find yourself driving into the oblivion.
-There's weight limit if you want to ride the horse;

The shows were fun, safari ride too .. boat to see the monkeys also great experience.
Totally recommend to go and gentle reminder: tons of sunscreen bottles , mosquito sprays and mini fans… it’s insanely HOT???? wear light colored clothing; guess it kinda helps" View
Sungai Tekala Recreation Forest

4 months ago"One of the best experiences to embrace the nature. Went to Sungai Tekala reserve forest on Monday, 14/03/2022 at around 10am. Not very crowded. Tortoise winding road towards this reserved forest. Entrance ticket is RM2 for adult and RM1 for children. There are concrete stairs all the way up but some parts just sands and rocks only. The higher you climb the lesser the crowd and clearer the water. It is surprising that I didn't see a single monkey during my hike. Toilets are only available just behind the entrance ticket booth. Water is cold and refreshing, however there were lots of rubbish left behind by those selfish visitors! Please keep this mother nature clean and bring back your own rubbish. This waterfall is suitable for elderly and children. I brought my both elderly parents aged..." View
Kellie's Castle

4 months ago"For people who like to see architecture, Kellie's Castle would be good. The second and third floors are mostly refurbished that the brick walls are mostly covered by cement and painted white, a huge contrast to the first floor.
Many of the place's signage were about ghost stories and are repetitive.
Also at the entrance, after you pay, they will ask you for a photo "just for documentation purposes". But before you leave the place, they will approach you with your photos printed a put in a frame (with brochures) and sold to you for RM 40." View

Yet if there are a lot of customers, we probably need to wait as they only have 5-8 ropes. The boss, Madam Bibi was very friendly. No worries, the place is safe! The instructors are going to assist and monitor your safety at all times? Would like recommend everyone to go there and act like Lara Croft and James Bond yourself ?" View
Melawati Hill (Bukit Melawati)

4 months ago"This place is an old fort. If your are up the hill in the 'right' weather, you will have a very pleasant refreshing climate with very beautiful view.
If you love history, spend some time up there and stroll around the area. Mind you it is a large area.
Start with the museum so when you walk around you'll know what you see an the significance of it.
Grounds are well kept, monkeys are well behaved. You're allowed to feed them, but please, please don't feed them junk food! Spent RM2 to buy proper food from the stall owners there. Take care of our wildlife and support our local business.
Fee is RM5 (for adult AND Malaysian) different fees for noncitizens. With that fee, you'll enjoy a tram ride up and down the hill and all the facilities up hill.
