2 months agoSuch a beautiful place in Penang Hill, this requires separate tickets after we reach the top.
The walk through the rainforest is absolutely gorgeous. We can spot so many insects and plants and snakes and monkeys as well.
It’s very well maintained.
The view is stunning and if the sky is clear we can have a gorgeous view of the ocean and the whole of Penang.
Washroom is available and clean. -

5 months agoTicket: RM60 for adults (citizens and non citizens) RM40 for child. No ticket was required for my 3yrs old.
Location: Just beside the hindu temple, walkable distance from the train station.
The habitat: I loved the calm and green, lush trees and plants, the Bridge was quiet long and amazing, scenic.
The 13meter high Curtis crest tree top walk (800m above sea level) offers a fantastic and scenic views of Penang Island and mainland.
Butterfly banks, huge swings, cafe and the calmness is a must experience.
At the other exit you will get a free buggy lift back to the train station. -

2 weeks agoWorth the price overall ?. Really well maintained. Very enjoyable rainforest walk.
While in the middle, came across a nature guide who was very friendly and informative - ?would look into hiring one or waiting for a guided tour if going again.
Only negative ❌ I have is that the "free shuttle" that returns you back to the main entrance (train upper station) is only every 15-20 minutes and doesn't fit many people (it's a large golf buggy). If you choose to not wait and walk, it's 15-20 min walk along a road busy with cars and other golf buggies (on the upside, on the way there is one of the ℹ️ best view points of George Town). -

3 weeks agoOne of the Top attraction in Penang. Taking the powerful electric train up the hill opens up a whole new world of forestry walk with many linked bridges that you might submerged yourself as one with the surrounding and habitat forgotten about time. It's definitely worth to spend half a day here. As the saying goes, If you have not been to the Habitat you have not been to Penang!
