Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam

There were very few animals to be visited at Animal Farm - they have two rabbits, a bird, chicken, ducks, deer, horses (at the stable), more chicken... They used to have more animals and there was horse riding section too. Rumah empat musim was closed too so it was disappointing. Really hope these can be upgraded and more children friendly activities and attractions can be provided. The good thing is - the place is surrounded with ton of trees, friendly for the joggers, cyclists, walkers and the ticket fee is really affordable." View

Passed by this place many times. Enthusiastic with daughter to give it a try. Very disappointed at service. As earnest walk-ins, we waited patiently outside for someone to attend to us. We could see there were several young children with mothers for a party. We thought we would make enquiries and a reservation to come back later, as really wanted to try. Stood outside glass door visibly for 10 minutes. Anyone inside can see through the open glass walls that there were people waiting outside but no staff came out. I called the phone number on the marketing brochure placed outside the shop, as that's what it said which is to call to make an appointment. Quick shockingly, could see the staff walking to her phone and then rejected the call. Even my young girl..." View

As per previous reviews, the instructors felt pressuring and were not helpful in teaching at all. They basically took over and moulded your pottery creation for you once you’ve done the foundations of the clay. They give you options (e.g cup, mug, bowl etc) but where is the flavour?? It felt like they only wanted you to do the bare minimum and were not very helpful in giving any insights on options to individualize your creations.
Not to mention, when I asked the instructor some basic questions as to how to remold or reshape my creation she just simply said, you can’t. LOL. Palm in the face. I would’ve appreciated a better explanation, even if I did a mistake on my part so I wouldn’t have repeated it again, right?
Very disappointed a..." View

Continue my journey and reach the rock peak at 7:30 am. It is very very challenging. Please train before you come. It is uphill all the way. Only tiny bit of walking, the rest is hike. The parking area is already full at 5 am. No charge for parking but you’ll have to pay RM5 for permit at the entrance. If you want to hike before 7 am, it’ll be at your own risk. The rock peak accommodates at most 20 people so it’s best to wait for your turn as it is quite steep and slippery." View

Favorite recreational spot for cycling, jogging, riding electric scooter and also for family picnic.
Awesome place for photo session.
If you're cycling, depending on the route, you may pass by beautiful Putrajaya bridges, residences and even man made beach along DoubleTree hotel.
There are many entry points to the park with ample carpark. But I would suggest to park and start cycling from Ayer 8. Afterward, you can have meals with friends and family at any of the restaurants at Ayer 8." View

Throughout the lesson, there will be a speaker in briefing the steps, dos and don'ts with 2 assistant s guiding and monitoring novice like me in doing the things right.
Briefing: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Friendliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Item security: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall, staff and the studio owner(I guess) were very patient in explaining the questions I raised throughout the lesson.
Recommendations:
1. Share more on clay drying knowledge or take it as a chance to recommend other related workshop on clay drying/ firing
2. Maybe can work on couple package/ family package or even team building package for future business" View

The museum is inside a mall (entrance in front of ayam gepuk pak gembus) so u have to park outside/or inside the mall. But u better really enjoy & take photos there or else u'll feel it's a waste of money. Don't rush, just take your time. During our visit, the staffs are very friendly & helpful. She taught us how to take photos from the correct angle & even helped taking our pictures. I bought the tickets online from KLOOK, it's cheaper. The main attraction here is the 3d art illusions. I have to say it's quite impressive & real. If u wanna buy the videos (3videos), it'll cost u rm60. The videos will be stored in a 4gb pendrive with your pictures inside the 3d art illusions studio." However, it could be improved. Some of the information signs were not related to the plants next to it. And some of it is showing fruits on the information signs, but you can't find any fruits on the tree. Ex: cocoa tree. City ppl like me expect to see a real cocoa fruits but the fact is I'm too busy finding which one is cocoa tree instead.
Not to mention some of the plants were dead but no replacement. Not really well maintained, maybe due to the pandemic, I guess?" View
