Introduction
The KLCC Park is an urban park in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The park has been designed to provide greenery to Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it.
What to Expect?
Visitors can come to enjoy the lush greenery or the park’s wide range of amenities – from the two-acre children’s playground, wading pool and jogging track to shelters and benches, patterned footpaths and sculptures.
The park draws considerable attention from tourists and residents alike. The man-made lake, Lake Symphony, is probably the biggest attraction in the park. The contrast created both between the surrounding greenery of the park and the urban design and lush flora inside the garden is a wonder to behold.
Lake Symphony - the Fountain Show
Unquestionably, Lake Symphony is the reason most people frequent the park; it has water fountains that can shoot water up to a height of 42m. These daily water shows occur at noon and in the evenings and are popular with kids. KLCC Park has over 1,900 indigenous trees from 74 species; 40 of these trees were transplanted from the former Selangor Turf Club racecourse, which lies to the southeast of the city.
Facilities
Besides the various waterfalls, fountains, cascade and reflecting pools scattered around the park, there are a variety of facilities at KLCC Park including a two-acre children’s playground, a 1.3km-long jogging track, shelters and benches, patterned footpaths and sculptures. On KLCC Park’s western stretch is a public children’s swimming pool.
The overall design of the park is unapologetically inclusive, and you can have a surreal experience at this park as it is loaded with greenery.
The As-Syakirin Mosque is a notable attraction of the park. The 21-hectare structure is considered a jewel of the park, as well as an architectural landmark amongst the global Islamic diaspora. It serves as a welcome addition to the serenity and cultural vibrancy of the park.

a week agoGreat park, small but compact with 1.3km of rubber jogging tracks. It is a green lung for the city centre, fringing the KL Twin Towers and its shopping complex.
A must visit for if in KL, perfect for jogging whether morning, afternoon or night.
However it is dimly lighted at night but safe. -

a week agoA super pretty park with lots of greenery (a little nature refuge from all the city life of KL). It also has a sizeable swimming pool/pond that’s open to everyone (mostly kids) to swim in which is a unique thing I haven’t really seen in major metropolitan cities. You can also go running in the park as they have running tracks encircling the entire park.
