What to Expect?
People visit the place to relax and heal themselves by taking a warm and soothing dip in the hot spring waters. The hot spring is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from the Labis town. The Johor state government maintain and protect the hot spring along with its watershed so as to offer the visitors and travelers the opportunity to engage themselves in a number of leisure activities which include the likes of picnicking.
Note: The water is hotter than most other hot springs in Malaysia, so please do take note of the temperature prior to dipping in. There are 4 main pools and two of them are filled with shallow water mainly for dipping.
Water from the springs falls into the pools of different depth. The deeper pool has higher water temperature while the shallow one has lower water temperature of about 40 degree celcius. You can also find a number of seating areas.
There is also a man-made garden pool adjacent to the hot spring, which allow the visitors to take a walk around the greens. Not much beautification has been done and yet the area retains its own charm. There are a few relaxing pavilions offered for the visitors too.

a month agoAn interesting hot water spring in Labis, Johor. We visited on a very hot day and surprisingly, the place was full! I guess people really liked bathing in hot water, despite being at midday. There are a few pools for you to bath in or dip your legs. Additionally there is also a “play” area that is more suited for kids. I’d love to visit again in the evening.

4 months agoLooks nice but it was closed around 7pm on 5th of March 2023 (school holidays day). Hot springs not much effected by Johor water flood (just few sections of outside gates are damaged, water pools are no problem). Foreigners have to pay more than local people but still reasonable.

9 months agoGreat experience. Prepare your change of clothes. Shower facilities available. Tickets priced at a reasonable rate. Good place to go to for a pit stop. Go at 1pm when they just opened for the afternoon for a fresh pool of spring water.

a year agoAn interesting inexpensive outing. There are a number of pools of hot water of varying degree of hotness. Not quite the Japanese onsen but most definitely acceptable.
Do remember to bring your towels and a change of clothes. The showers at the changing rooms are not very well equipped. It's good for a quick rinse before you get back on the road.
Can be enjoyable if you do not have high expectations. -
