Introduction
The KL Forest Eco Park, formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, is one of the oldest permanent forest reserves in Malaysia. Located beside the Menara KL Tower, this forest reserve covers an area of approximately 11, 0000 sq metres and was founded in 1906, making it the only remaining tropical rainforest in the middle of Kuala Lumpur city centre.
What to Expect?
The forest is placed right in the heart of the city. In addition to adding a lot of fresh air to the city centre, it has also become a natural refuge for a number of birds and small mammals. Tourists often pay a visit for a quick stroll or a hike, or even a sultry picnic over here. Conveniently, this forest is very close to a number of other important popular tourists’ spots, including the famed Menara Kuala Lumpur which is actually visible from the forest.
It has a canopy walk and is a popular ecotourism destination and serves as a natural green lung for the surrounding metropolitan area. To preserve the natural surroundings and its habitat, the design and construction of the adjacent Menara Kuala Lumpur were carried out with utmost care and consideration.
It is an especially great place to come in the wee hours of the day to enjoy the forest in all its expanse and serenity. It is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the greenery and picture-perfect beauty of nature.

a month agoAgree with many of the reviews. We walked around wondering where the entrance fee money was going. It looks like it used to be a good park but someone has had a argument with management or something. It used to be free entrance! Now you pay and the money is thrittered away somewhere. Still a cool place to see but it needs sorting out

2 months agoThe views are nice on the canopy walk, other than that nothing much already. Most of the other parts are run down or not maintain.
For parking, just drive up and park right in front of the KL Tower, there will be people collecting parking fees RM10 if not mistaken. If you park right where you drive up the hill, not sure if there is another entrance there, but let's say if there's not, you need to walk all the way up which is quite a slope and distance there. -

2 months agoAlmost everything other people are describing is closed. There are no people and you are walking alone in wild jungle. Park is in very poor condition. If you want to see wild jungle and feed mosquitoes, you can waste 40RM

6 months agoA cool beautiful place, although quite small and I’m not sure I can say it’s actually worth the price.
