It is an oceanarium showcasing different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound creatures over a sprawling space right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's city centre, and is said to be one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia.

It includes a themed retail area of about 5,000 square feet (460 m2). Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea. The journey starts in the misty highlands, down through rivers, through the rainforest and mangroves to the coral reefs into the deep blue sea.

With over 5,000 exhibits of underwater and land creatures to choose from, the vast aquarium offers a day of exciting activities for everyone. Journey through the 90-meter transparent underwater tunnel where hundreds of fishes, sharks, stingrays, and more surround you from everywhere you look. Witness the sea animals in their natural habitat and get the chance to interact with starfish and sea cucumbers at the Gene Pool.
