What to Expect?

It is an oceanarium showcasing different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound creatures over a sprawling space right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's city centre, and is said to be one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia.

It includes a themed retail area of about 5,000 square feet (460 m2). Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea. The journey starts in the misty highlands, down through rivers, through the rainforest and mangroves to the coral reefs into the deep blue sea.

With over 5,000 exhibits of underwater and land creatures to choose from, the vast aquarium offers a day of exciting activities for everyone. Journey through the 90-meter transparent underwater tunnel where hundreds of fishes, sharks, stingrays, and more surround you from everywhere you look. Witness the sea animals in their natural habitat and get the chance to interact with starfish and sea cucumbers at the Gene Pool. Don’t miss out on the signature feeding shows scheduled throughout the day, where professional staff members will tell you all about the feeding habits of the hungry sea creatures.

- An amazing showcase of 5,000 land bound and aquatic creature exhibits spread over a sprawling 60,000 sq feet, featuring tiger sharks, sea turtles, sea snakes, flying rays, coral fish, seahorses and many more!

- Their star marine life species include scary tiger sharks, lethal sea snakes, blue rays, bright coral fish, seahorses, and a lot more for you to explore

- Highlight attraction: take a walk through Malaysia’s first underground aquarium exhibit, a 90-metre transparent tunnel that allows visitors full view of wildlife in their element.

- Immerse in an array of unique exhibits: Touch Pool, Evolution Zone, Jewels of the Jungle, and more!

- Aquaria KLCC is not just a place for you to visit, you can also learn about some of their conservation projects that are trying to keep the ocean healthier

- While there, don't miss out on an incredible animal encounter through Augmented Reality with ARV Aquaria KLCC.

Do check and plan your visit according to the feeding schedule.

Really enjoyed the numerous species of fish at the aquarium. The tunnel to closely see the sharks and rays was very personal. However, I was surprised to see a petting area for visitors to touch the marine life.

A great place to go with family to see the aquatic life. Bought tickets online to avoid congestion during the weekend which is useful as we went on payday. Overall, the visit is pleasant and we enjoyed the place.

Very well maintained Aquarium although I found it to be a bit smaller than my expectation for the ticket price. Beautiful species at display. The best part was the tunnel with wonderful view of the sharks, sting rays, tortoises and beautiful fishes. A very enjoyable place for the kids. Better to go for online tickets for discounts. Different ticket prices for Malaysians and Non Malaysians.

Very nice place to visit, at some spot, it takes 2 hours to visit, amazing experience. Photographer are there to click nice pics with their experience and u can collect pics from counter. Two divers were feeding fished inside tank, it was very nice. Animation show is average.
Have never seen such large fishes and other species.
And everything is very neat and clean.
If you are in KL, it is a must visit place.
