What to Expect?

The ostrich farm is the PD's main attraction and is popular among the locals as well as visiting tourists. You’ll be warmly greeted by ostriches, who are the real stars of this beloved farm. Visitors may feed these giant birds, pet the affectionate creatures, race with them and even try to stand on ostrich eggs and be amazed at how durable their shells are!

Established around 2010, PD Ostrich Show Farm also houses an aquarium for Malaysian freshwater fish. While ostriches are the main attractions of the PD Ostrich Show Farm, other residents include ponies, donkeys, goats, geese, turkeys, ducks and several breeds of rabbits as well as a variety of other friendly animals.

Besides feeding the ostriches, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs and many other smaller animals who inhabit the farm, you are also allowed to ride the ponies, donkeys and ostriches. However, as a rule, visitors must weigh less than 75 kilograms to ride an ostrich. For the most part, visitors are more spectators than riders when it comes to appreciating these giant birds.

Petting animals include dogs, guinea pigs and other animals. They also have an Aquarium area for Malaysian river fish.

My boy had fun feeding and petting the animals. Although some of the things are old and need replacement or repair. We rush through the dinosaur park because we got bitten by mosquitos, so hopefully, something can be done.

A special thanks to one of the staff for passionately telling us about the animals at the hedgehog area. Learn many new things from him.

Overall experience was very good. Would recommend this place. Keep it up!

Good place to bring the kids along. Get to feed the ostriches and other farm animals. There's a mini cat cafe too. Bought the package deal and get free ostrich satay.

Visited there on normal weekend (not school holiday), not many people. The entrance ticket is RM20/adult and RM15/kid or senior citizen, and this is not including the dinosaur park and animal feed. Quite expensive as not many types of animals and I won't call the place well maintained. Nonetheless if you had kids and wish to find sth to do in PD, you may consider visiting here.

Nice place to visit with family especially with kids. Friendly ostrich will be there to entertain & helpful staffs too.. but for my opinion the dinosaur farm was a waste to pay that expensive n only few dinosaur not really well maintained in very small area really disappointed there are only 1 staff there & we can't really get help from him to take pictures because he was at the entrance so better not to waste money on dinosaur farm (park). The rest of the animals there was nice.. we can feed & touch them.

The price was slightly expensive. Overall it was worth it...the place is big and good to bring kids to run around and meet animal, although most of animals are in cage but sometimes they are allowed to roam out of cage like the goats. Kids had tons of fun feeding n petting the animals. Staff is friendly...dinasour area need additional $$ band not really worth it. To visit the cats room need to wear socks, or else i need to purchase it Rm2.
