Introduction
A agritourism park growing hydroponic strawberries and organic vegetables. It offers a one-stop concept featuring landscape garden, vegetable & fruit farm, personal hotel (big red strawberry hotel), large cafe, retail shop, vegetable market, and strawberry picking activities
What to Expect?
Starting from the main entrance, visitors will climb up some steps to a koi fountain, flower nursery and mini petting zoo filled mostly with rabbits. The walkway then leads through the strawberry farm where self-picking for purchase is allowed. Finally, the walk ends at a cafe and shop where fresh strawberries and other local products may be purchased. Big Red is open daily from 8.30am till 6pm.
The farm is famous for growing organic salad vegetables and fresh strawberries. The greatest attractions for the travellers to this stop is to hand pick fresh strawberries or enjoy some freshly made strawberry ice cream. The farm holds a large cafe serving delicious refreshments, a vegetable shop and product shop or a gift. There is a 200 car parking lot for people visiting with a car.

a week agoI think expectation is key for going to some of the strawberry farms in the Highlands. I knew prior to arriving that it wasn’t strawberry season so the likelihood of seeing strawberries actually growing wasn’t very likely — which I was totally fine with. I mostly wanted to go to try out some of the foods they make with them.
I would HIGHLY recommend getting food and drinks. This was the best part while visiting in the off-season.
Mostly my partner and I were somewhat confused about where to go to actually see anything at the farm. From the short search we did everything was gated and locked so we couldn’t actually really see any of the plants much. It was a bit odd but cool to see from a distance nonetheless. -

a month agoGood for family with children and those interested in plants. Food with strawberries ingredients available, que for payment and thereafter given que number for Food collection. Souvenirs available. Ample parking spaces at different levels. (try to get 2nd or 3rd level close to entrants) Entry and parking is free.
Was told at the counter, self picking strawberries not available at time of attendance due to off peak season and advised to come back 3 months later. -

3 months agoThe road leading up to the place is very steep, so be careful when driving. They have two parking lots for visitors. Inside, you can see a variety of vegetables and flowers growing. They also sell desserts that you can enjoy at the tables. There is a small playground for kids to have fun.

a month agoDelightful place for children. The strawberries are sold at gift shop, but off season otherwise (thus no "pluck your own strawberries" adventure). Friendly staff and helpful parking attendants.
