Introduction
Sizable, popular park featuring a jogging track, scenic lake & kayak rentals, plus a unique playground - with low hanging suspension bridges and slides.
What to Expect?
Sprawled over 43 hectares, the Shah Alam Lake Gardens, designed by renowned landscape architect Fumiaki Takano, was the first public park to open in Selangor in 1985.
The park is a massive parkland equipped with gazebos, a lakeside promenade, raised walkways that extend over the water, reflexology paths, jogging and cycling trails, event halls and childrens’ playgrounds.
There are 3 man-made lakes: Central, Western & Eastern Lakes. Each with its own unique features and characteristics.
Visitors may rent paddle boats and kayaks at ±RM10/hour to explore the interconnected lakes. Fishing competitions are regularly held, as are Majlis Pelepasan Ikan (fish releases).
Several species of animals including peacocks, geese, storks and forest chickens are also reared here, so remember to be on the lookout for them.
A great place for activities for your family, kids & friends, with nice scenic view, big trail for jogging, cycling & walking.

One of the good park in Shah Alam. With a fantastic view around the mosque. Also they are doing some upgrading work of the walk pavement. Very happening in the morning, with good crowd and fitness dancing groups. If you are animal lover, bring along some cat biscuits or fish food for animal feeding activity.
There are many parking entrance whilst you drive circling the park. If you like to have breakfast then you can park at Kak Anie Shellrock restaurant.
Taman Warisan Melayu has opened to public. Very nice concept. It has a higher ground for lake viewing. Just a small area of malay cultures decoratives. -

4 months agoGreat place to jog around, beautiful and clean. They have very huge walking track! Relaxing place in middle of town. Here you can find zipline over the lake, which is interesting to try. Recommended to go in evening, and thanks for keeping this place clean :)

6 months agoBeautiful, Spacious, Green, Kids - Friendly - these are the descriptions that I can say about this place. Still under construction for one or two areas but it does not hamper us to walk around from one lake to another. The parking place is just quite ample and they are almost everywhere at each lake. For Shah Alam folks and around it, this is definitely the place to exercise, picnic, chill and bring kids to enjoy themselves. Neighbouring to one of the lakes, there are some restaurants and cafes other than Wet World Water park.

8 months agoA beautiful and huge area for your outdoor activities. It includes a huge lane for walking, biking or running, the place is family friendly, it even has a small outdoor gym included, and many other things to enjoy and relax. Sultan Salahuddin mosque is just nearby as well. If you are staying in Shah Alam and you love nature definitely find some time to visit this beautiful place...
