Kota Tinggi Firefly Park

Saw many fireflies as the boat driver got us close to the river banks. Seemed like the fireflies were more active on the left side of the boat.
Did the wishing lantern and purchased fireworks too. The staff helped to take really nice photos and videos of the lantern releasing. Kudos to going the extra mile for great shots. Special thanks to the staff, Michelle. Very friendly and fantastic service. Highly recommend to go! Worth the drive." View

The friendly staff members exuded a genuine passion for batik, and the well-organized workshop allowed us to explore traditional techniques with clear instructions and guidance. Spending hours coloring the batik fabric was incredibly satisfying, and we wished we could have continued the activity for even longer. The warm and inviting atmosphere, along with the impressive retail section offering high-quality batik fashion and gifts, added to the overall charm of Jadi Batek. We highly recommend this workshop for a memorable batik experience." View

a month ago"The best dry and water park in Malaysia!
1. Clean
2. The staff is so helpful and friendly.
3. Systematic
4. Merchandise is not overpriced.
5. They had an A&W restaurant inside the park, and the price was not expensive. Normal price.
6. Costa coffee machine
7. Their staffs are so professional. Kudos to the management team; they had a great team with excellent customer service skills.
Overall, me and my kids are so happy with this short escape here. Value for money. It's worth it, even though we have to pay nearly RM600 for the entry ticket." View
Pantai Teluk Kemang Beach

a month ago"This is a nice beach with soft white sand that is considered quite close to KL.
Toll fare cost around RM16 both ways.
It's best to come during the weekend as all services such as water sports, food stalls, fruit stalls and so on are open.
But if you prefer a more private kinda beach, then come during the weekdays and not during any holiday season.
You can rent a tent for shade if you come by this beach around noon time. There will be few people coming at you offering to take their tent for a fee. The fee is around RM 30-50 from my experience. So anything goes higher than that it's considered expensive.
Once you're done playing in the water, there's a changing room in which you can take a shower. It costs RM1 per entry per person.
Be ready for a long wal..." View

You can purchase a ticket to Energy Capsule at the entrance (it is not available online) - I recommend this exhibition ? Also, take warm clothes as in some areas (especially in the 3D theatre) it’s crazy cold. There are a couple of food counters and free drinking water sinks near bathrooms. Place is durable for wheelchairs and strollers. Kids loved all activities and want to visit again as soon as possible ?" View
Parit Fall

a month ago"A nice short walk, paved all the way. Access via the forest office at one end and a campsite at the other. Some questions about whether access is actually allowed...
We entered from the forestry office end of the trail. On the right hand side after the entrance behind a kind of picnic area. Exit is around a campsite, then up a paved drive and through an unlocked car gate at the top. Both places open at 8am.
The tail is paved all the way and mostly flat with some steps at the end to cross the river. You can see a small waterfall and the river. Good walk for kids or family.
Exiting through the campsite seems to be questionable and it might be safe to walk out and back from the forestry office.
A nice place for birding." View

I highly recommend bringing along kids, family, and friends as it's a fantastic place for everyone to enjoy. The option to purchase socks at the counter or bring your own from home is convenient and caters to individual preferences.
One tip: don't forget to bring your drink bottle! The exhilarating and challenging walls can work up quite a thirst. Staying hydrated will ensure you can fully immerse yourself in the adventure.
Overall, Rocky Basecamp is a thrilling destination that promises a great time. Whether you're seeking an escape from st..." View

It's nice to see such a wide array of species here, but if you have a heart I think you would feel bad for them.
The rabbits live in small cages on cold hard metal wires. Just look at my photo! One long line of metal cages for 20 rabbits. No wonder they look so depressed. The sole kangaroo and stick insect too.
Happy to see species like the sheep, cats, and dessert foxes have adequate space and stimulation. But many fish are kept together in very small tanks. They cant swim around without touching others! The poor long-necked turtle will soon have a sprained neck since it has to keep turning in that small cage.
i did see some tiger butterflies and maybe ..." View
