District 21

4 months ago"My kids visited District 21 in IOI City Mall for their class excursion and they had an amazing time. As a parent, I was thrilled to see them having so much fun and enjoying the various activities at this indoor adventure park.
The park has a futuristic design and a wide range of adrenaline-fueled activities, including a high-ropes course, trampoline park, ninja warrior course, and a roller glider ride. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that my kids and their classmates had a fun and safe experience.
However, I want to note that parents with younger children should be aware that kids shorter than 150cm will not be allowed to play some activities. While there are plenty of other activities for younger children, such as the trampoline park and virt..." View
Crocodile Adventureland Langkawi

She first took us to a dinosaur show which is a fun thing for kids but adults won't enjoy it much. Later she took us to take a photo by carrying a baby crocodile. We were afraid and didn't want to take it but she insisted and we took a couple of photos with the crocodile which we felt were amazing later. She handed the food and told us to feed crocodiles. She told us to assemble at a particular point to watch the adventure two guys do with the crocodiles. Those guys did an extraordinary job they literally played with huge crocodiles as they were like soft toys. A must visit place!!" View
鬼仔巷 Kwai Chai Hong

4 months ago"Kwai Chai Hong 鬼仔巷 means “little demon alley”. It is the latest tourist attraction in the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. It is a small alley behind Petaling Street focused on recreating the culture of the 1960s golden era of the area. The origins of the name are debated. According to one, Chinese refer to naughty children as Kwai Chai and this is where the kids liked to play. According to another theory, this place was popular amongst gangsters and drinkers and drug addicts, and these activities carry negative connotations resulting in such a name. The place today is very popular and frequented by tourists. It is decorated by numerous murals depicting daily life at this place in the old days. The alley has been there for more than a century and has become dilapidated over time but recently ..." View
Merdeka Park (Taman Merdeka) Johor

Seems like the only proper park around JB near the custom to SG. Wishing there were more parks around here to mix with the city life here. Unfortunately I think this is the way Malaysia works (not usually maintaining things well - I mean this as a fact and not as a diss) though I know there are still many amazing humans here too. If developers were willing to build parks next to their homes, maybe it'd be a comfortable and balanced livelihood too. The park was not the cleanest but it is considered quite clean in Malaysia standards I believe. I'm not so sure about the public toilets here and what else is open/closed as there seems to be many other facilities aro..." View
Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum

4 months ago"Have had a wonderful time exploring and understanding this heritage as passed down from the early babas and nonyas. Very well maintained and preserved exhibits and artifacts which are passed down from generations to generations. Watch out for the floor tiles, the well carved (well maintained too!) doors, furnishings, decorative displays, paintings and photos and the various daily utensils for eating and cooking. Friendly host informed on what to do and not to do (and where to sit and not sit) through booklet which was returned after visit. The stairs and steps to 2nd level has its own designs to behold and admire too. Amazing place, worth the time taken to visit and spent like 2+ hours there. Parking is really tricky at this place but the staff there mentioned there is a parking place w..." View

RM5 for Non-Malaysia
Free entry for kids below RM12
Thus is my first visit after the mass renovation.
What's new:
1. No more free public toilet. Have to pay 50cents. Want to chane clothe? Still have to pay.
2. Cleaner than before, I think.
3. More wild dogs than ever.
4. I miss my lokching stall.
5. SkyTrex looks sad though.
Parking: can park outside and inside. Better to park inside, it's only RM5, same as outside. But the outside parking is illegal. I think.
A good place to have a picnic, camping and also BBQ. Bring your kids too." View
Bangi Wonderland Theme Park and Resort

Sungai Lalang Hot Spring

4 months ago"The timings on Google are accurate. The entrance fee (which included parking), for adults above a certain age, it's RM5. Not RM3.
We arrived around 8.30am and there was a crowd already. Parking spaces are limited.
The spring itself was surprisingly not scorching hot. It was accomdatingly warm. And pretty shallow, just below your knees, for a 5 ft 3 in person. The hot spring is big enough with stone slabs to sit on in the middle and all the corners. Seemingly clean the place.
There's another hot spring pool, a smaller one a bit further inside. Temperature lower than the main one.
Overall, it was a relaxing experience. Staying in longer than 30 min and you'll start to feel dehydrated. Oh and please wear decent clothing as everyone else. This is Malaysia..." View

Icescape Ice Rink @ IOI City Mall

4 months ago"A good place to experience ice skating especially for kids. Quite crowded during school holidays even on weekdays.
Bring your own gloves and socks.
Kids are fast learners. Though it's their first experience, after an hour they are already able to skate freely. So, don't worry. Have a try and experience it at least once in a lifetime ?.
If you come early, you can enjoy skating the whole day, provided that you shouldn't exit the entrance. There'll be a half an hour break for some maintenance. You can refer to the schedule. Use this time to have some snacks and go to the washroom. Toilets are available inside. Enter the ring again after the break, so that is only worthwhile paying for the ticket. ?
Price over the counter is RM35 per person notwithstanding kids or adults.View
