Pantai Saujana Beach

The view here is absolutely beautiful for PD standards. We come here for day tripping with the kids. There can be sand bugs and crows, as well as really sharp thorny tiny flowers, so beware when choosing a spot. If you want to stay longer, bring a tent or canopy, it's really nice to set them up by this beach. Food stall will start sometime in the afternoon, but highly recommended to bring your own food if you want healthier options. TOILET - Majlis Perbandaran PD, please monitor the contractors. The toilets are horrific, even though they charge RM 1 per person for shower room. Trust me, it's right out of a horror movie. So if ..." View

Plus point for this place - the staff as free photographers make the visitors at ease and enjoy the experience of being around this unique house. The other staff are also very helpful and friendly too. The downside - quite a challenge to get a parking place and the parking is not free except for Sunday. You need to download apps Penang Smart Parking for the online payment. Overall experience? Definitely a must visit if you go to Penang!" View

4 months ago"- Parking fee rm6 per entry
- Fair ticket price. Value for money
- Tickets can be purchased online for smooth entry.
- waiting time for attraction is reasonable during weekdays school holiday.
- there are attractions that need you to use tube to ride it. tube can be rented (rm 20 + rm10 deposit)
- Magic Funnel (the giant vuvuzela) is a must try. but you need 4 people in order to ride it, plus your weight must be below 80kg. they even provide weight scale to measure your weight at the attraction's entrance.
- as expected the foods' price is pricey, same like other park.
- lots of water crews monitoring the crowd. ??????" View
Good Times DIY & Lifestyle Cafe MyTOWN

4 months ago"My wife registered us for a baking class at MyTown Cheras Mall to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary, and although I was initially hesitant, I ended up having an amazing time! While I had some experience baking simple muffins at home, I had never attempted a fruit tart before, so I was excited to challenge myself.
The staff at the baking class were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They allowed us to take the ingredients by ourselves, which gave us the full experience of baking. The venue was also fantastic, kid-friendly and easy to locate. We even saw parents bringing their kids to the class and baking together, which looked like a fun family activity.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and my first official baking c..." View

Friendly ostrich will be there to entertain & helpful staffs too.. but for my opinion the dinosaur farm was a waste to pay that expensive n only few dinosaur not really well maintained in very small area really disappointed there are only 1 staff there & we can't really get help from him to take pictures because he was at the entrance so better not to waste money on dinosaur farm (park). The rest of the animals there was nice.. we can feed & touch them." View

One of the good park in Shah Alam. With a fantastic view around the mosque. Also they are doing some upgrading work of the walk pavement. Very happening in the morning, with good crowd and fitness dancing groups. If you are animal lover, bring along some cat biscuits or fish food for animal feeding activity.
There are many parking entrance whilst you drive circling the park. If you like to have breakfast then you can park at Kak Anie Shellrock restaurant.
Taman Warisan Melayu has opened to public. Very nice concept. It has a higher ground for lake viewing. Just a small area of malay cultures decoratives." View

Special thing about here is the skywalk. Not really terrifying and it's free. We took around 1 hour to fully explore the place which we didn't expect that little.
Also a good place to take wedding photos i supposed, during my visit, have witnessed 2 couple of them.
I guess it used to be a tourist attraction, but recently no one keep it well maintained. It seems quite abandoned and there are lots of naturally grown bushes that have affected the scenery. Overall, still a place worth to explore with friends and family or couple." View
Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island

4 months ago"Many seem to think you have to go to Borneo to see the orangutans, but the Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island Foundation is doing great work rehabilitating and caring for animals until they can be released back to the jungles in Borneo. After visiting, I'd highly recommend going out there. It is an easy 1-2 hour drive out of Georgetown (depending if you have a Touch 'N Go card to pay tolls), a rental car will cost you 135-160 RM for a day and tickets at the dock are 30-40 RM, just call to book your time on the boat. The ferry is part of the entry ticket and only takes 10 minutes. Their only funding to care for the animals comes from tickets, so go visit! No conservation effort is ever as perfect as the animals getting to exist in the wild, but this facility is helping to delay or hopefully p..." View

Spent half an hour at the peak to enjoy the magnificent views but it was really windy up there. So, it’s advisable to bring a windbreaker. However, we only took an hour to descend as my Garmin was running out of battery.
Things to bring:
Torchlight if you are climbing very early in the morning
Windbreaker
Hiking shoes
Water (at least 1.5 L)
Food just in case you are hungry
Rm5 for the entrance fees
Summary of the climb:
Overall time: 3:56 hours
Distance: 6.92 km
Total Ascent: 598 m" View
Rimba Ilmu Botanic Garden - University Malaya

4 months ago"Although the hours is from 9am-4pm, the office is closed between 12-2pm. Closed on weekends. Need to always remember this garden is in a university.
Permission is needed to enter the garden as it is a botanic garden for research, education, and conservation purpose. Visitors need to register at the office to retrieve a pass before entering.
Highly recommended for researchers, students and those working in the ecology & biodiversity field. Not that great for recreation. Only a group guided tour of minimum 10 people is available for schools of all levels (primary-tertiary) and general public. Office is responsive to emails so best to contact them there.
The garden has been around for almost 50 years so many of the trees are very big. Meaning to be cautious of falling..." View
