Raju's Hill Strawberry Farm
Ann Meow
5 months ago"Enjoyed strawberry plucking at 40RM for 0.5kg! For the experience and fun, i think the price is worth it. We plucked less than 0.5kg, so the staff helped us top up additional strawberries. We were the only ones in the farm at about 4pm+ on a Friday. It was easy to walk around without any crowd. The staff was kind enough to direct us to certain aisles that have ripe strawberries. The strawberries have already lasted 1 week in my fridge - still perfect for eating!
I also ordered strawberry juice (without sugar) at the cafe but the service was quite slow. I waited about 10mins at the empty counter, trying to make an order. The efficiency can be further improved! Love the original taste of the strawberries but bf found it sour hahaha" View

If you ask I love the safari ride compared to the swing cause the route was bumpy and steep and it is more adventurous. For me, the swing was good as it swings according to the wind . It was kinda fun. At the end of the ride, we were dropped on a farm where we can see all kinds of farm animals which is suitable for city kids who have never seen farm animals before." View
Taman Wawasan Putrajaya Park

5 months ago"Taman Wawasan Putrajaya is a hidden gem in the heart of Putrajaya. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, as it's a less crowded park compared to other parks in Putrajaya. The best place to park your vehicle is along Jalan Tun Hussein behind the SPR building, making it convenient and accessible. The park has several entry points, providing multiple options for visitors to access the park. The track is approximately 1.5 km, providing enough space for jogging, walking, or cycling. The park also has clean and well-maintained toilets, making it a great place to spend a day with family and friends." View
Kuala Selangor Nature Park

The taman offers a relaxing walking trail that stretches nearly 3 km if you follow the path suggested. The scenery of different parts of the trail changed and we got to experience walking through a mangrove forest on a mossy concrete path, (which can get really slippery, hence shoes with good grip is recommended). On another trail we experienced walking under huge trees beside a river... It can get really warm when walking through a sparse area, so i would recommend wearing something cooling. It is also recommended to have insect repellent ready (it is also sold at the ticket counter). We saw monkeys, many colourful crabs, birds (we saw an eagle, a heron), insects and m..." View

I saw kids entertainment ride (cute mini car and bicycle) with few OOTD attraction areas. Parking is paid through debit card/tng with automatic polls. Eventho it is very beautiful at night, food stall mostly started to close at 7 pm during my visit and not all pantai's walking pavement is equipped with lamp post thus it limits area to lepak already." Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum
Emily Lowe
5 months ago"A treasure trove of information on tin mining in Malaysia, specifically in Kinta Valley, a top tin producer in the world at one time. The brainchild of Tan Sri Hew See Tong, a tin miner himself, you can bet that the information offered here is as accurate as can be. Well kept even though the museum first opened its doors back in 2012.
Vast exhibition areas indoors (air-conditioned) and outdoors, at least two hours have to be allocated to really go through the exhibits here and read the information boards, which are in three languages (English, Malay and Mandarin).
The museum is open daily from 9am until 5pm. The entrance fee (ticket) is RM5 for visitors above 17 years old, RM2 for those 6 to 17 years old and free-of-charge for those below 6 years of age." View
Rabbit Fun Land

5 months ago"Well organised property housing variety of domesticated animals - not just rabbits as the name suggests. There are also deer, goats, a camel, donkeys, ponies, couple of horses, fish, chickens, geese and turkeys. We came on a weekday which meant we were there only ones there on a quiet day. There is also some man made playground setup based on obstacle challenges for kids to while away their energy. Entry ticket is RM12 per ticket with discount for senior citizens. You can also buy a bag of treats to feed the animals at RM15 a bag. We spent about an hour here mainly for the kids to explore." View
The Habitat Penang Hill

Location: Just beside the hindu temple, walkable distance from the train station.
The habitat: I loved the calm and green, lush trees and plants, the Bridge was quiet long and amazing, scenic.
The 13meter high Curtis crest tree top walk (800m above sea level) offers a fantastic and scenic views of Penang Island and mainland.
Butterfly banks, huge swings, cafe and the calmness is a must experience.
At the other exit you will get a free buggy lift back to the train station." View

We went up during the dry season so there were some nice natural slides and the water was the perfect temperature to cool down. Beware for the monkeys that will open your unattended bags for food or other stuff that they like. Awesome place to make cool pictures and it’s allowed to fly with your drone over here. This is also the place to start the hike through the jungle to walk up the nice hills over here. Free parking for your motorbike and some small stores at the start of the stairs." View

5 months ago"It's a nice place and there are trails and tar roads available (closed for renovation). Definitely gonna go back to try out different routes, to get a different view of the ecosystem there.
The downside is there are too many trails here and can get lost easily, which I did and ended up finishing all my supplies. Luckily my phone line is still available so I can find my location using Google Maps and call for help.
So if you're a first timer, it's better to follow the locals or if you wanna explore on your own, make sure to go up and down the same exact way. Or else you might end up at Hutan Simpan Mengkuang or Hutan Simpan Seraya, which are interconnected but its the other side entirely.
