Introduction
Cameron Valley Tea House KT (Kuala Terla) is one of 3 tea houses owned by Bharat, offering a cafe overlooking a steep valley of tea plantation, where visitors can roam for free.
What to Expect?
The sister plantation to Bharat Tea in Tanah Rata, Cameron Valley's second tea estate is located along the main road between Tringkap and Kampung Raja, about 7km north of Kea Farm in Brinchang. Nestled along a steep valley, the plantation is draped around hills that overlook the village of Kuala Terla. Open daily from 9am till 6pm, entrance is free including bush walks around the estate.
Cameron Valley Tea House has 2 different location and is the second biggest tea plantation in Cameron Highlands. Cameron Valley Tea House KT is located along the main road of Kuala Terla while Cameron Valley Tea Houses 1 & 2 is located at Tanah Rata.
Visitors will be greeted by a tea shop selling an assortment of the locally produced tea. From the entrance, the tea house provides a one-stop center for visitors to purchase Cameron Valley tea products and a cafe with spacious rooftop deck that overlooks the tea fields.
Right across the cafe, visitors can find a vast area of tea farm, providing a sight of lush greenary and usually a nice open breeze. Enjoying a cup of tea with a view is definitely the attraction here.
Visitors will be able to roam the tea farm for free and take some photos.
In the cafe, they would be able to sample tea and desserts. They are famous for their masala tea and scones.
There are usually not that many people here so parking is a breeze.
A recent attraction is a safari ride that ferries passengers on 4WD vehicles around the hills, culminating at a peak with observation platform to soak in the view. ATV-riding activities are also offered.
Not a bad place to stop enroute to Tanah Rata as the tea house overlooks the plantation.

2 weeks agoOur first pit stop at Cameron Highlands hoping to enjoy a cup of tea and maybe buy some as souvenir. I ended up buying their recommended No 54 tea. Apparently they are young leave pluck from the same plant. It has a subtle taste which is not suitable to be added with milk. For those who prefer cold drink, you can try their canned drinks. One for RM3.30 and buy 4 at RM10. Too sweet for my liking. There are many flies in this place maybe due to the tea sweetness. Their staff should learn more about tea to explain to customers who like to know more about which tea to purchase. Overall a meh experience.

5 months agoIt's the best place to go for teatime. I went on the ATV safari and swing. The safari cost around Rm18 and the swing cost about Rm5 per ride. If you ask I love the safari ride compared to the swing cause the route was bumpy and steep and it is more adventurous. For me, the swing was good as it swings according to the wind . It was kinda fun. At the end of the ride, we were dropped on a farm where we can see all kinds of farm animals which is suitable for city kids who have never seen farm animals before.
