World of Phalaenopsis - Ulu Yam

Robson Lai

"Sharing our experienced during our 3rd times visit in a World Phalaenopsis/ Ulu Yam it’s such a big disappointment experienced indeed!
The moment we enter the gate, the staff at front gate question us if what we gonna do inside? ?
That in my understanding it’s open for public to buy orchids and enjoy the ambiance at cafeteria area. But all of sudden rules and regulations has changed, visitors are allowed to roam around for just 30 minutes only. ( But, we have no choice we have to leave without half in hour. What a waste of time traveling from far way place suppose to enjoy the ambiance of the cafeteria. So we exit with unhappy heart! )
Hope the management will take notice on this matter so that not offend more visitors. Thank you."

Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest

"Pleasant place not far out of KL. Lovely clean river running through it and a charming place for a picnic, swim or for some bird watching if you're into that you can see some quite rare things. It's quite large and the road goes a long way back and was a pleasurable level stroll perhaps 20 minutes end to end for a relatively fit person.

Parking is easy on a weekday but on a weekend can be more of a problem. Entrance for foreigner is 5rm not sure for a Malaysian probably 2rm. Cars can drive in for 15rm rather than parking outside that price is the same for everyone.

As is usual here maintenance of the road and buildings is not very good at all but the picnic huts are in a reasonable condition as is the toilet which costs 50 sen to use in theory. It reminded me somewhat ..."

Amigos Horse Riding

G Y

"10/10 authentic and nature experience on a weekday morning.

Arranged via WhatsApp in advance for a 1 hour trail ride - arrived earlier and the owner was kind to let us start early.

Did not receive too much of a briefing before getting started - but along the way been told various tips, e.g. don’t let the horses eat any grass along the trail (else they will keep stopping), the correct way of gripping the steer on the horse, etc.

There is a lady staff who led the jungle trail, where we followed along behind. The owner joined us at various parts of the trail.

Avoid wearing cap / spectacles without securing them properly. Some horses (including mine) avoid wet mud (it rained before my session) and will walk slightly into the wilderness, hence the overhead..."

Purradise Cat Cafe

"Came today and well though it’s not perfect, it’s stuff I expected when i came to a cat café lol. Strong smell of cats… as you would expect… there is this one cat named fluffy that was a bit unfriendly but the rest of them are cute and will approach you if you’re nice to them. Don’t expect all these cats to warm up to you immediately since they are well… cats… we stayed for about two hours and although we were above the time limit… staff was kind and let us play with the cats a bit more hehe. The staff are very kind and friendly and take care of the cats well. The cat Olive is a bit shy but he’s a huge cutie!! If you really want a cuddly cat i suggest houdini the cat, katsu, and luna they don’t really mind… but make sure the cat is comfortable before you do anything, they have feelings ..."   View

Pantai Siring Melaka Beach

MS Ahad

"A lesser known beach/shore in Melaka, the Siring beach is frequented by locals for its eateries along the shore, while enjoying a tranquil sunset view and gentle sea breeze.

This beach is not quite suitable for swimming and recreational activities, but for its simplicity one can simply find a spot along the rock formation and sit down, relax and enjoy the view and breeze

There are local fishing village right by and a fisherman jetty where you can rent a local boat service for fishing activities in the sea. There are scattered fisherman boats and a few private kelongs which are available for rental.

The beach used to be a mangrove swamp until recently developed and the muddy beach is piled with large granite rocks. There is a small strip of sandy beach among th..."

Bentong Gallery

"it is our first trip in Bentong and we have absolutely no idea about this place. We happened to walk into Bentong Gallery and were extremely impressed by Amy's excellent customer service. She was welcoming with warm smile and had answered all our queries satisfactorily. She listened to questions from all areas attentively and offered us with options for consideration. She served with patience and did not rush us off despite it was almost closing. She has brought us with extra knowledge and a huge thump up for her professionalism and we enjoyed her extra mile service. Well done Amy and Bentong is proud for having you!"   View

Bangi Wonderland Theme Park and Resort

"We had a family day out and had the best time at Bangi Wonderland. The place is well kept, water is clean and change rooms are reasonably looked after. Food choices are limited (and spicy!) but you are not allowed outside food! Gets a bit tricky with small kids who can't eat much of the food available inside. There are about slides for all levels, a splash pool, canal and wave pool for kids and some scary slides for those who dare! We got their promotional discount on entry price and it was totally worth it."   View

Sungai Kedondong Recreational Forest

"Visited Air terjun Sungai Kedondong on 25/6/2022. Arrived the car park at around 1pm. To reach this place. Kindly google Bayu Dingin Sungai Kedondong and you will reach the car park. Parking is plenty and no parking fee. There is a toilet at the parking but however, the public toilet is dirty and no supply water inside the toilet. The water supply came from the adjacent restaurant and the owner is kind enough to clean and maintain the condition of the toilet FOC. Thumb up for the effort. To get to waterfall, you need to locate the children playground. Slightly further to the playground, you will see the concrete stairs that lead you to the hiking trail. Follow the trail and you need to hike at least 40mins that passing lots of rocks. The hiking trail was slightly difficult and is around..."   View

Museum Of Illusions Kuala Lumpur

Yan Yin Lim

"Turned out to be some good fun. Friendly staff. Enjoyed some of the more unique illusions. The most popular illusions also felt the most gimmicky (but most people seemed to enjoy it). Personally loved the puzzles/brain teasers the most and it was the best part of the Museum for me. Wouldn’t have enjoyed the visit without the puzzles. Worth a visit to pass the time if any of the components sound interesting to you.

Side note, ventilation needs to be improved as many people are allowed in at once. Felt stuffy in many parts."
