Kota Tinggi Firefly Park

"Excellent experience, great staff at the fireflies river cruise. It was a Friday evening, we only managed to get a time slot at 2030hrs, our preferred time slot at 1930hrs was already sold out when we tried to book on Thursday. We were put on wait list & get periodically update from the lady at the counter. She gave us the priority to board the boat once she knew they were customer who didn’t turn up. It’s an experience of a lifetime. The gentleman who guided the boat was professional & have in depth knowledge of the river, my boy even have a chance to feel the fireflies up close, which drove him to be excited & wanted to come again. It’s like Christmas in real life…spot the monitor lizard in the last photo ?"   View

"In my opinion, nothing special about the food or the coffee. Just a standard and tasty food.

But, what makes the difference is the environment that you get while enjoying your food in the Restaurant/Cafe. It's like you are enjoying the joy of eating in the jungle with the fresh air and cold breeze.

Not necessarily a place to go and visit but a good experience for any tourist to go there.

Oh, I got the Express Lane ticket which was really worth it! As I don't have to wait for hours for the normal lane, trust me, the line was really loooong."

"Nice dog-themed stop to spend your time. It goes by specific time slots, so do make sure you check the availability.
My group arrived at 11.45am but can only join the next slot at 12.15pm

Entry price include a refreshment drink.

You can purchase dog snack to feed the dogs. The dogs will start to crowd around you when they see you holding these snacks. You can cuddle, hold and take photos with them.

There is an option to take a photo with a large group of dogs too. It is about 20rm for a printout."

Kilim Geoforest Park

"I booked a mangrove tour by boat, 4h trip, professionally managed and guided for just under 20 bucks. First of all: the guide did a good job to make the best from it and the captain is a bada** racer. We did 6 stations: bat cave, monkey place, , a crocodile shaped cave mouth, eagle feeding, open sea ride to a beach and included lunch on floating restaurant with fish farm. Lots of information and education plus exceptional views and pictures to take. But finally it is just another mangrove tour on a fast boat, the geological aspects of the park or the environmental relevance of the mangrove haven’t been mentioned with a word. And seemingly nobody feels bothered by 200 hp speedboats racing in a nature reserve. There is still a mile to go for the management…"   View

Sungai Lembing Museum

"RM2 entrance for adults to this neat and well kept museum. Informative, giving some insights into the tin mining industry in the area. I wish there were more stories from the miners living during that time, and more information on the dangers of the mines and working conditions of the miners, to help us understand and appreciate what they went through.

Note that the mining tunnel (about 1km away) is still not open and hasn't been for a while. Rumour has it that it will be reopened soon. I feel a big part of the experience is missing without the tunnel."

Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park

"Do NOT come even if free entrance.
*** High risk Aedes Breeding Ground ! ***
Swarm of mosquitoes were constantly biting us. Judging by the sheer amount mosquitoes, there were zero efforts to prevent mosquitoes from breeding. There was a lake which is heaven for mosquitoes breeding.

Low to ZERO maintenance in entire cultural park. More than half of attraction is closed. There were NO visitors and less than 5 staff in entire attraction. There were NO renovation works on going. It feels that the cultural park has been abandoned.

It’s wasted that such a big place for cultural educational has fallen in the wrong hands of management. What a disaster."

Robinson Falls

"First thing, Google directions are wrong .. the entrance is behind the animal feeding centre just out of Tanah Rata so if you want to go, set the animal feeding centre as your destination otherwise you'll end up at a power station that you can't walk through and will have a half an hour drive back.

Second thing, if you do find it, wear decent shoes. The path is really slippery (where it hasn't already fallen down the cliff.)
It's not very accessible so only go if you have a decent fitness level.

Third thing, personal view, but I've seen better waterfalls without having to chance falling down a steep hill."

ESCAPE Theme Park, Penang

"I will try to be constructive as much as I can.

Pros
Staffs were generally helpful and kind.
Many interesting and fun activities.
-We enjoyed the A&W inside. Good food and staffs were pleasant and quick.
-Clean amenities and well maintained.
-Parking is free.

Cons
-Simple thing but important. Toilets need hooks. Where to put things while doing business? Same for showers. There were benches in shower right next to where the shower water falls. Not a great idea and got things wet.
-No mention of water park rides being opened at 2pm the earliest. Some rides open at 3/4pm.
-Some staffs kept telling us to go to Dry Park first. But I have never been to such a place that tells me what to do first. At least let people know on your website. We ha..."

Bukit Jalil Recreational Park

"Are you looking for a place where you can have a nice jog with no interruptions from ongoing cars and also enjoy a beautiful scenery? Look no further because this is the right place for you! Which very long paths and several stone benches, wooden benches and huts, it is a great place to exercise or hangout with your friends or by yourself. There is a outdoor playground where your kids can have fun, and you can also have a picnic there, provided you are comfortable with the treacherous weather in Malaysia. You are also able to see monkeys and fish in the vicinity, just bear with the sight of opaque green lakes."   View

Taman Rekreasi Tasik Y

"The park is called Tasik Y (or Y Lake in English) due to the Y-shape lake located nearby the food stall. The Y-shape lake is a lake branched into two dividing by a part of green pasture in between.

? A beautiful park with soothing scenery, and the walking pavement and the playground facilities are considered well-maintained. A good place for jogging or some exercises, and a good place to bring kids along for some family time. You can also grab an ice-cream for yourself after your jog or for your kids at the evening time from a vendor selling the ice-cream in cone or in bread.

? The only downside about this park is with the public toilet. The group of staffs manning the public toilets are sometimes seen smoking around the public toilet area despite the park being design..."
