ASEAN Sculpture Garden

It is a landscaped garden with a collection of prize-winning sculptures in wood, marble, iron and bamboo. Exhibits have been crafted by artists from the ASEAN region.
The ASEAN Sculpture Garden opened in Fort Canning Park in June 1982 to display the sculptures that were created for the symposium. A total of five sculptures were put up for display in the garden, namely: ‘Unity’, a copper plate abstract piece by Indonesian artist But Muchtar; ‘Taming Sari’, a fibreglass work consisting of a broken kris and sabre by Malaysian sculptor Ariffin Mohamed Ismail; ‘Fredesvinda’, a reinforced concrete structure of an unfinished boat by Filipino scul..." For those who have no idea what's farm in the city is, its a petting zoo. You can pet and feed many of the animals here. The keepers are also friendly and helpful. The animals look well fed and cleaned. The playground at the end of the trail is also a fun stop for the kids. Definitely a different kind of attraction in PD. Oh ya, if you are from N9, bring some prove of your origin, u'll get cheaper entrance fee." View

I spent quite sometime watching them. The poor goats are hungry! Some ate the dead leaves that fell from a nearby tree. One older goat even stood high up to eat a leaf from the fence where the forest was. Such a sad sight! Birds are perched on dead branches! Really? There's an eco forest just next to the fencing. I can't imagine what these animals, birds, would be thinking seeing the greenery is just so near yet they can't get to it!" View
Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park

Their claim to fame is that it's the largest butterfly garden in the world and I have no reason to disagree because it is definitely vast, beautiful and well organised. It's been documented by Discovery Channel and I think it deserves all the praise that it gets.
There are many different sections inside for live insects, beetles as well as a museum, pond with Japanese koi fish and freshwater turtles. As far as the star of the show butterflies are concerned, there are thousands of them and these little lovely creature of nature are roaming around freely greeting/sitting on visitors without any care in the world.
Another reason to love this beautiful country Malaysia." View
Pantai Remis Beach Shore

They have blocked the view of the ocean with a long wall of rubble, seemingly to block the advance of the sea on to the beach area. Now you can't see the ocean from most of the beach. To make matters worse, there are many hungry-looking monkeys around. They don't seem frightened by human presence. In fact, we saw some come over to a family that just arrived for a picnic. A couple also came towards our car, probably whiffing the aroma of the food we had brought. We stayed in the car and didn't wind the windows fully downwards." View

The walking path is big enough to accomodate pedestrians and bicycling. There are many lotus leaves and flowers on the lake surface. Variety types of tree in the garden. The area is spacious enough that you can have privacy at various spot. And best of all they have pedestrians bridge across section of the lake and into section of swamp with mangrove trees. Most people come in the evening, personally I prefer morning is the best time with fresh air and morning sunlight." View

3 weeks ago"The management of Butterfly Garden has claimed Butterfly Farm (aka Taman Rama-Rama) as own whereby the location is only besides Butterfly Farm. The entrance of Butterfly Garden is as shown as the picture uploaded.
Please do not get confused and get cheated by Butterfly Garden. They have claimed the Google Reviews & location as their own, but as you can see from the picture provided by tourism, it is clearly stated Butterfly Farm (Taman Rama-Rama).
Also, please help to report Cameron Highland Butterfly Garden by misleading tourism and incorrect information provided.
Thanks." View

Bolder Ventures Climbing Gym

They will help you out with hold solutions + climbing techniques whenever needed, which translates to a warmer atmosphere in comparison to better known chain joints (ahem we all know which one it is) which seems a tad bit too commercialized and corporatized. Rates are well more than reasonable and won't burn a hole in your pocket while picking up a new sport. You can opt for the classes or guided pass as well with a qualified instructor." View
