Langkawi Wildlife Park

It hosts various kinds of birds that coexist nearby Asia region and local. These birds fly freely where visitors can feed and be very close to them. If your lucky small birds will swarm and sit on your head if you offer food.
There's cousins to Rudolph which are the local deer's where visitors can be close and feed these tamed animals. Overall I'm quite happy with the management looking after the animals. Tho the entry fees to me is a bit steep but I'm sure ? it goes to show how well the animals and their surroundings are maintained.
My suggestion, provide those recorded audio which explains the animals ha..." View
Wonder Food Museum

If you read you'll learn a lot about different food but the miniature and giant food models are incredible! There's so much attention to detail. The staff are really helpful too with taking photos and telling you how to hold the props properly. One staff member returned my water bottle to me when I'd left it near one of the displays.
Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who likes taking photos and being in a fun place.
Thank you to the creators of the museum and the staff for making this a great experience." View

The visitor activity area is not very huge. It has a rabbit farm, toilet, nursery (which you could buy the plants) and small souvenir shop. Ample car parks available. There are some "British" feel of building in the park.
Nevertheless, when we visited the Park, not all flowers available. We managed to see "live" tomato, grapes and winter melons on tree and also some veges.
Personally think the park can be further improved by planting more big trees. I always like the park with 林荫大道 / Nami Island feel of pathway, which we could enjoy walk under shade of tree.
With the price of RM6.50 for adults (RM2.50 for students and senior citizens). The park could do much more bett..." View

Walking through the deck you can observe mangrove trees sticking out from muds where small crabs, worms, tracked fish going about their business, finding food and all. Just be wary of monkeys up in the trees, they don't usually bother people but still they're wild and big. Judging from their teeth and fangs, they can inflict serious injury. Put on some sort of insect or mosquito repellent would be a great idea. In bad days, mosquito bites are unbearable. These are few things to be cautious, overall it's a pleasant place to visit and educate yourself about mangrove swamp and its benefits to the ecosystem." View

Plus points- A good wide variety of cactus huge ones taller then average human height and tiny ones (finger size ) with labelling ( though fading prints). Huge cactus & some unusual ones) they also ve grapes, apples . Educational especially good for children. Without going overseas they can see grape vines & apples hanging from trees. There are other colourful flowers too.
Negative - many steps to take . Be careful with younger children . Some terrains quite steep but ok if you are able bodied" View

I was here with a friend for a morning walk. Many people can be seen cycling and jogging. The place is surrounded by a lake and a bridge as well as buildings. The facade is just amazing and truly beautiful.
Parking is available at the parking area and there is a restaurant, too." View
Aquaria KLCC

a year ago"If you're a nature (sea) lover, you will sure want to visit this attraction in the heart of KL, you can spend simply 2 to 3 hours here learning many facts about the ocean. It's a good activity to do with your family.
Bonus - if you're a burger lover, you must try the FUEL SHACK located just at the eateries outside Aquaria's exit. Ask the staff if you cannot find the restaurant.
And there are some downsides,
1. Many exhibits seems forced and cramped into a place.
2. They have a few different themed zones but very limited space.
3. More like a quick tour than take time to immerse and amaze yourself into wonders of oceans.
For a better viewing experience,
1. Camera are allowed but flash are not.
2. You are not allowed to tap on the glass.

National Textiles Museum

The earliest fabric was made of wood which were on display as well. Round the corner there is a cafeteria cum boutique cafe, where they showcase some latest local and kelantanese craft batiks and other clothes. We had coffee, and sandwiches there and bought a few Tshirts. There is no nearby parking. Nearest parking perhaps about 200 meters away." View
