Introduction
This is a 42 acre park which is known to have almost 100,000 visitors every year, and is divided into six major areas the Herb Garden, English Garden, Rose Garden, Orchid Garden, research centre and an information centre. It was created by MARDI and served as the oldest research centre of the country.
What to Expect?
The Park is home to 40 varieties of roses, 10 strawberries, 100 citrus fruits, at least six types of anthuriums, four varieties of apples and pears as well as persimmons. The RM8 million 42-hectare park has six areas C Rose, orchid, English, Herb and Orchid Gardens and a research and information centre where tourists can also buy souvenirs.
The brainchild of Malaysian Research and Development Institute (MARDI), the Park received 100,000 visitors annually. The idea to turn the former research station opened in 1926 by the British to an agrotechnology park came from the Agriculture Minister Datuk Dr Effendi Norwawi three years ago. The British handed over the park to MARDI some 22 years ago.
The Park is actually MARDI's oldest research station in the country and since Cameron Highland is a popular tourist destination, MARDI has followed through on the idea to turn it into an Agrotechnology Park.

2 weeks agoWe enjoyed the outdoor botanical experience, flower & fruit gardens & beautiful landscaping but it was cut short by afternoon downpour. We couldn't cover many areas but will come again one day.

I was here in 2019. It was not as beautiful as it is now. The ticket price remains same rm6.50 for adults. Senior citizens & children rm2.50. There is a cafe, playground, surau and various fresh plants. There are many types of flower. Wide area. Spend some time here before resuming the busy journey.
Maybe not as good as lavender/other places. But it's okay for me. Cheap tickets. Many upgrades from 2019 - 2023 -

4 months agoBeautiful flowers exhibited and also for sale. There are many other sections other than flowers but we didn't tour the whole place. The park is well maintained. There is a surau inside the park, food stalls, gift shops/stalls. The entrance tickets are cheap. Definitely recommended.

6 months agoThis place is a nice visit as you can really see they plants full bloom (depending on season for some plants).
A great place for kids and adult alike as you can identify different flowers, vegetables plants and some trees. There are even huge pitcher plants/ monkey cups.
Bonus was the small butterfly enclosure where the butterflies were fluttering. You can see a few deers and for extra RM 2, you can see the rabbits.
The fees to enter are RM 6.50 for adults and RM 2.50 for students up to 17 years old.
A great place for photo taking too!
