Lata Hammer (Perting) Waterfall

"Track wasnt that far or difficult, about 90 minutes can get there, the last one is very steep tho, and also the part where you have to cross the wood log to get to the campsite. Overall, its a nice day out, well spent with friends and family, careful there is also wood logs inside the lagoon, and as u go further it gets very deep, bring life jacket if you have one, safer to swim near the waterfall that way. A changing room and a toilet available at far upright side, quite clean too. So keep your trashes with you, u come with you so please go with it."   View

The function of the building continued during the English period until independence. In September 1996, the official residence and office of His Excellency moved from Bukit St. Paul to Melaka Palace in Bukit Beruang, Melaka. Asia Comic Cultural Museum

"Wonderful place to bring your kids or enjoy on your own. The kids marvelled at the common comic figures they read about in comic and kept themselves entertained by finding the stamps for the passport. The entrance fee is not expensive and time worth spending. Hard to find time to read the history with two kids tagging along, more knowledge would be gained otherwise. Try it out! At the time of visit, the adult pass is RM15, student pass is RM10. Children below 6 is free, yet they still give a passport stamp for participation."   View

Sungai Lembing Mines (Tunnel Tour)

"The entrance fee is a bit pricey (RM 15) but for a history lover like me, I'd say it's worth it. You got a tour guide that know everything about tin mines and can ride a mines train for about 1 minute. The underground mines is well maintained and clean. To people who might have claustrophobic, it is advisable not to come here. My friends felt a little bit stuffy though she's not a claustrophobic. We took about an hour to walk in and out of the mines. There are some section whereby you can stop and watch the video about the miner's life and the history of the mines cave itself. In my opinion, this is such a great experience."   View

Taman Tasik Seri Aman Public Park

"Imagine having savoury dishes with unique names such as "marijuana rice" and "fried peacock bass" beside a small yet scenic lake in a peaceful village! I didn't know Greater KL had such a uniquely quaint place. Don't worry about the strange-sounding dishes -- there are no marijuana/cannabis leaves or imported peacock bass or whatsoever in the ingredients. Regarding the small lake, it's natural, nostalgic and a bit historic: tragedy struck some tin-mine workers in the 1970s and there was a huge crocodile inhabiting it in the 1990s -- it's a good thing we can still see the preserved croc at the Melaka Zoo."   View

"I have 3 X coupons for kids, when I go to ticket counter for redemption the guy said for adults need to purchase tickets and I agreed but then he said 1 kid must accompanied by 1 adult. I got 3 kids and the guy said need 1 more adult. ??? Husband and wife not enough and need one more person? How to find another adult??? He said if buy normal ticket for one more kid it's will fine. The ticket price is 25 per adult and 20 for kid. Than I buy the ticket. price is not worth for the museum. I strongly recommend to management to take a look on the policy."   View

Star Light Kids

"Not worth the money. The kids may enjoy running around the place but there are many other places in KL with better facilities and better hosts. The place is actually quite cramped and the dark lighting makes it even more suffocating. The ball-drop feature was constantly jammed and they actually left a wooden stick there for us to un-jam it ourselves. Imagine that. A long wooden stick left out there for any kid to use and injure themselves. The Malay woman in charge was thin-lipped and lorded over everyone. Such a spoiler. The other staff, all young women, were okay but some of them could barely speak English. All in all, I'll never come again and I would not recommend it to anyone else."   View

Toy Museum Melaka

"Toys are fine but not really up to date. A lot toys are just repeatation of itself and I would say not worth the the entrance fee. Even a toy junkie would agree on this after visiting this place. However, the owner did preserve some of the old toys well. Either reduce the entrance fee or widen the range of the collection to make it worthwhile. I being a toy junkie myself, quite dissapointed to after the visit. If you're genuine toy collector, you just don't go for the mainstream toys. There are more other toys that would peak our interest. In my opinion, this collector is just there for the buck and nothing else. Does not know much about the toys either. The starwars collection was less than moderate. Where's the battleships?"   View
