What to Expect?

Taman Saujana Hijau is an attractive 41 hectare park covering a ridge and three rolling hills in the northwest corner of Putrajaya's Presint (Precinct) 11.

Taman Saujana Hijau is not just any ordinary park – just look at its beauty! You don’t need to travel all the way out of the country now, because this place is simply as breathtaking as any other European parks or gardens. The landscaping is different from other parks in Putrajaya with more use of pine trees and other conifers and less tropical planting.

The park is divided into 3 zones; a European Garden, an Oriental Garden and an English Garden (Bustan Eropah, Bustan Oriental and Bustan Inggeris).

European Garden

The European Garden is located on the highest of the three hills and provides excellent views over Putrajaya.

A small pavilion in the European style stands alongside an open lawn which would be ideal for playing football, except that ball games are not allowed.

With the open spaces, fir trees and wooded trails there is something of a Mediterranean atmosphere here.

Oriental Garden

The Oriental Garden is crowned with a Chinese-style pavilion and uses more tropical vegetation.

The shelters in the park are equipped with a lightning protection system (basically a tall mast) and visitors are warned not to stand next to these masts during a thunderstorm.

English Garden

The English pavilion is an attractive gazebo surrounded by colourful flower beds. Only the weather is different from England!

There is not a lot of shade in the park though it may improve as the trees mature.

To avoid the hot sun, it is better to visit in the early morning or late afternoon.

located at Presint 11 Putrajaya, this park is relatively unknown to the public, the place is well kept, well maintained & some of the landmarks are a good spots for photography. however, cycling, roller skating is prohibited along the path. overall this is a good place to relax & unwind if you are looking for some form of stress free relaxation.

Some gardens aren't as per labelled. English Garden - only hut. Sunflower garden - not even a sunflower exist! But other trees are remarkable, not too shady, but ok. Pavement walk, can bring stroller. But there are some steps after the parking area. Have playground too. Free parking, free entrance. Toilet not sure.

We saw at least 4-5 couples are shooting wedding photo and I guess this part is one of the famous spot for that. We also saw lots of family having picnic on the flat green fields.
There are some area right now under construction, they are planning to build some playground for kids.
It is a huge park and it is so good to chill and relax with cooling fresh air. They have few themes such as Europe park, English park, oriental park and so on. Each theme they have different set of trees, flowers, and gazebos.
    Definitely worth to drop by.

Love the place! Went again after 7 years, still well maintained & clean. Nice view and suitable for picnic & jogging. There's a playground too at the top but I didn't check it out this time. Make sure u wear a suitable shoes to climb up the hill! There's directory available in some pitstop.
