Introduction
Chamang Waterfall is a magnificent yet torrential waterfall located in Bentong, Malaysia. The rocky waterfall nestled amidst lush greenery offers gorgeous views and is popular for the suspension bridge, picnic areas and trekking spots.
What to Expect?
Depending on the time of year, the water colour ranges from clear to a creamy teh-tarik, with designated safe wading pools for a dip. Similarly, dangerous spots with strong currents or whirlpools are clearly marked with warning signs for visitors’ safety.
That said, Chamang does have an easy 2.5km hiking trail. The trailhead is across the river, on the right of the suspension bridge and campsite. The trail starts on a gentle slope before branching to the right for a view of the upper falls.
The waterfall cascade down a steep gully that feeds into a recreational nature park, nestled within the rainforest region of Bukit Tinggi.
A powerful waterfall, the waters drop violently through large chasms and clefts embedded within a sloping rockface, flowing into a large pool at its base before resuming its journey over powerful rapids. A very good place for family or group outing and picnic.
There are tables with seats available or just find a good shady spot. A short suspension bridge connects to the opposite side of the fall for those not prepared to wade through the rocky stream & water. The water from the falls is cool and the breeze is cool when you climb to the higher level. All over the place you can see danger signs of sudden gush of waters.

in the last weekVery beautiful waterfall. So easy to access. You don't have to climb ups and down to reach it. Water flow is abit fast so children might not be suitable to swim here. I would give 5 stars for the waterfall and easy access, but 1 star for the toilet. They were not maintained and dirty. No flushed.
On Friday they will close at 12pm for Friday prayer and open again in the afternoon. -

a month agoRM3 per entry and it's closed at 4.30pm. Basic facilities including toilet and bathroom are available and there are some stalls selling food, beverages and souvenirs here. Parking is quite limited inside. The scenery is simply amazing with the sound of the waterfall and the calming breeze. Anyway, the flow of the waterfall is quite fast so parents must keep an eye on young children. This is a great place for picnic and swimming. You must bring your own picnic mat or tent and you can even bbq here too. Recommended place to visit in Bentong.

a month agoNice place to relax and enjoy the cool water from the waterfall. The scenery is beautiful and the string bridge is a nice place to take a nice picture of the waterfall.
You can enjoy your picnic here as well but beware of the monkeys around.
Entrance fee is RM3/adult and half price for kids. -
