Introduction
Encompassing a 10-acre plot of forest in the Krau Forest Reserve of Pahang, Deerland Park is home to some 30 Indonesian deer (Cervus timorences), as well as a couple other species of deer, sun bears, monkeys, snakes, peacocks and ostriches.

Across the Deer sanctuary, Nature Garden is on an elevated walkway and awesome sight with its varieties of herbs and plants such as Tongkat Ali (traditional Viagra), Kacip Fatimah and 40 other medicinal herbs which can be found in rainforests. Visitors can also go camping or join a guided tour to learn basic jungle survival skills.
Deerland Park is situated within the Kuala Krau Wildlife Reserve, which overlaps across Raub, Jerantut and Temerloh.

3 months agoIt's a little run down, but it appears to be owned by a local family so it's not too bad.
Lots of different animals, birds rabbits and a few snakes. -

4 months agoworth the detour and the entrance price of rm 7 for adults and rm 4 for kids below 12.
Its more a mini zoo of exotic peasants and fowl plus many reptiles.
Yes, you still get to feed the deers.
It was a fun trip for us with 4 kids, it was education and the walk thru the deerpark was very peaceful amongst Tall tree and lovely country breeze.. funny thing was NO MOSQUITOES =) -
