Introduction
Malacca Zoo is a 54-acre zoological park located besides Ayer Keroh Highway in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, Malaysia. With more than 1200 animals of 215 species of animals, It is the second-largest zoo in Malaysia behind the National Zoo of Malaysia.
What to Expect?
There are also free shows animal performances and feeding shows that you can enjoy, such as bird shows elephant feeding and more. For easy access around the zoo, a tram ride is provided for visitors. Stop by the zoo and enjoy a fun wildlife experience.
A member of the Southeast Asian Zoological Park Association (SEAZA), the Melaka Zoo is a centre for conservation breeding and wildlife study – species successfully bred include tigers, panthers, tapirs, serows, barking deers, sambar deers and others. Besides that, it was the first in the region to exhibit the endangered Sumatran rhinoceros and gaur.
Other than looking at the animals, there are also feeding sessions and horseback riding on offer for visitors; another way to really get into the thick of things is to volunteer to clean cages and help out with educational activities.
Night Safari
They also have night safari tour on Friday and Saturday night, starting from 8pm to 11pm. The night-viewing safari is the zoo's highlights as visitors are driven around in a tram to see lit-up exhibits of nocturnal wildlife up and about.

The zoo is also well-maintained and clean Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along well-marked paths, enjoying the lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens.
Overall, Zoo Malacca offers a fantastic experience for animal enthusiasts.

Impress with the newly add dinosaur Park.
Mostly flat road which is suitable for old folks and baby strollers.
Eateries are available at every corner of the zoo where visitors can rest and chills.
The only improvement required is punctuality of the show time and info of the show time. -

a month agoIt is a fun place and has a variety of animals. Unfortunately, we visited in the afternoon and most of them were sleepy. They also look so thin and maybe they did not have enough food. So let's visit zoo melaka so that our fee can be used to buy food for animals there ? please bring a cap and water so that you will not exhausted during walking around the zoo because it is quite big

2 months agoHave so many types of animals and the animal park is very big as it will take around 3-4 hours to look around the places.
Dinosaur park also looks very realistic and amazing.
We paid for the entry fees, however we was also charged seperately for the photos, feeding the animals and also to have a closer looks for certain animals. (Reptiles, guinea pig ans etc)
Other than that, it was fun and good experience. -

in the last weekLots of sleepy animals during the day so activity is better in the afternoon. Make sure to check the weather; as if it is raining they won’t sell tickets. Overall good fun and great entertainment for a day.
