Introduction
Cameron Valley Tea House KT 1 is one of 3 tea houses owned by Bharat. Located in Tanah Rata, this is a tea plantation with a tea house offering tea and desserts, overlooking the tea farm that visitors can roam for unique experience.
What to Expect?
The tea house is overlooking the Bharat's tea plantation, providing a scenic view of lush greenaries.
From Cameron Valley Tea House 1, visitors can take a stroll down to a small park and waterfall in the valley.
Views over the plantation are breathtaking from this easy roadside pullover on the road between Ringlet and Tanah Rata. There are no guided tours, but you can wander around parts of the plantation and there’s a tea house, attractively set overlooking the estate. It's 4km south of Tanah Rata.
The cafeteria is open daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm where you can take a freshly brewed cup of tea. Pick your choice of scones, sandwiches, cakes or other snacks. There are many types of tea that you can try. The popular one is the Cardamom Tea. Others flavoured tea include Earl Grey Tea, Lemon Tea, Strawberry Tea and Mint Tea.
There is also a shop where you can purchase tea-related products and other souvenirs. Talk to the sales person and learn more about the various type of tea that you can purchase. You can even sample some of them. Try the premium type as you may not be able to get them after you leave the highlands.
Visitors can walk along the tea fields, which is a great experience! No tours are given and to walk through the plantation you have to pay an entrance fee of 3 MYR (around 70 cents). Bharat Tea Plantation entrance fee is definitely worth the money.

a week agoThe scenery is very beautiful. Suitable for the elderly and children because there is a vehicle to go down to the tea plantation. If you come early in the morning, there are less visitors and it's easier to take pictures because you don't have to wait.

a month agoAt RM4, you can walk down the tea plantation. Free for kids below 12. Walking down from Tea House 1 is more beautiful than doing so from Tea House 2 which is a short drive away. Here, it has waterfall set-up and picturesque rivers. My wife and 10-year-old boy totally enjoyed the walk down the tea plantation and spent an hour here. Highly recommended.

2 months agoThe most popular spot for visitors in Cameron Highlands. Foods n beverages a little bit pricey (can't complain bout it too much) Maybe we paid the price of the Cameron valley view also ;) They should improve on their service. Make sure customers get what they've paid. Always keep clean, especially floor and tables. Sink area need to clean up as well. After having a cup of tea, you can go and walking around get a fresh air to the tea valley (RM4/person) or you can take buggy train (RM15/person)

11 months agoVery interesting place to visit tea plantations. Here you can drink and eat dessert. There is transport idk bus or train, there are tires and you can turn around the tea plantation area. If I'm not mistaken, to get on the transport you have to pay rm 15 for adults and rm 10 for children.
