Introduction
Meet the reptiles, meerkats and many more wildlife at Zoology Cafe Coffee shop. More than a pet cafe, this is a petting cafe where you can meet wildlife from up close!
What to Expect?
This is a perfect hangout spot for animal lovers that lets you interact with many different wildlife, such as meerkats, chameleon, snake, iguana, sugar gliders and lots more.
The specialty of this cafe comes in a variaty of options, from coffee, main courses, to ranges of desserts like cake, letting you enjoy food while interacting with some of the exotic animals as well. This is an ideal stop place when you make a trip to Malacca!
Some of the animals such as hamster, turtles and snakes are placed behind glass windows for exhibition. However there’s another room, where the animals roam freely. Some of these animals are raccoons, prairie dogs, meerkats, hedgehog, rabbit and more. They love being pet and cuddled by visitors. Once you get there, you won’t be able to resist them.
The prices are overall affordable, and their staff are known to be friendly and approachable. For those worried about the smell, there's none! So, check ahead and plan your stop here the next time you are in Melaka.

in the last weekReally interesting theme, atmosphere with various types of animals, even more exotic ones, to name a few - raccoon, prairie dog, various types of reptiles lizards and snakes.
Good for the kids if they can behave to not disturb the animals in their enclosures (sometimes they may be sleeping or they can get frightened), they get to experience various types of animals without the need to purposely go to the zoo.
The coffee was really good, with a nice touch of latte art.
Ordered some fries to start with. Really generous on the portion and we get to share with our baby.
For mains We had spaghetti Thai style with fresh prawns, and butter salt grilled salmon. They were so good that we dug in quickly totally forgotten to take pictures!
Portion of our food was expectedly generous as with our appetizer.
Didn't get to try their dessert though as me and my wife, and baby was really full! -

3 weeks agoBrought my little bosses there, and they had a great time. I usually don't like dessert but tried their rainbow mile crepes, and it was so good. My bosses got to hold and pet the gheko and sugar glider. Their friendly staff even offered to pet the snake, but NO THANKS. ???

I ordered fish and chips, quite nice.
I saw smear cat and racoon
Although not allow to pet due to government license issue, but is not bad just watching those cutie running around.
Workers are nice and friendly
That's how I know why cannot pet those cutie

5 months agoQuite disappointed compared to my last visit in 2020. No more petting animals and there’s different timings to see different animals.
Which makes the cafe nothing special anymore
Mango waffle was nice.
I had to agree with the reviewers, toilet cleanliness needs to be improved
