Introduction
Cameron Valley Tea House KT 2 is one of 3 tea houses owned by Bharat. Located in Tanah Rata, this is the biggest among the 3 branches - with a tea house offering tea and desserts, overlooking the tea farm that visitors can roam for unique experience.
What to Expect?
The Cameron Valley Tea House 2 is probably the biggest and most popular of the three tea houses operated by the Bharat Group. Due to the increasing number of visitors over the years, it has expanded a few times. The establishment can comfortably fit more visitors.
Now there is even a separate parking area, in addition to the one in front of the tea house (which was formerly called just a tea kiosk). Visitors can definitely appreciate the ease of finding parking.
As with all the other tea houses, you can sit here and have tea with scones, while enjoying the splendid vista of tea plantations unrolled before you.
The tea house is overlooking the Bharat's tea plantation, providing a scenic view of lush greenaries.
Visitors can also pay a nominal fees to walk into the tea plantation. If you wish, you can also climb down the slope to view the tea bushes up close. The tea plantation takes up the whole valley, and climbs up the slopes of the hills as well.
Similar to BOH Tea Plantation, there is viewing deck for tourists overlooking the hills of tea for as far as the eye can see.
The cafeteria is open daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm where you can take a freshly brewed cup of tea. Pick your choice of scones, sandwiches, cakes or other snacks. There are many types of tea that you can try. The popular one is the Cardamom Tea.
Others flavoured tea include Earl Grey Tea, Lemon Tea, Strawberry Tea and Mint Tea.
There is also a shop where you can purchase tea-related products and other souvenirs. Talk to the sales person and learn more about the various type of tea that you can purchase. You can even sample some of them. Try the premium type as you may not be able to get them after you leave the highlands.

a week agoIt's a relaxing place to chill if it's not congested with humans ?. Good luck finding a parking space or seating place during the weekend. Thus suggest to come over during the weekday. We loved the tea and their scones.

a month agoI come here for their scones, and I really like it! Wish they'd provide more whipped cream though.
Massala tea has a nice spice kick to it. Nice hot drink for the cool weather up here.
I would NOT recommend the waffles. It's frozen waffles and tastes very sweet, covered in artificial flavour yet charging a whopping RM16. With this price you can easily find better and fresh waffles elsewhere.
In terms of ambiance, there's a nice balcony to look over the tea farm. But it's constantly packed with people taking photos so you wouldn't feel comfortable standing there for long. There can be quite a number of flies that will ruin your dining experience, so I can't really sit there for long to chill actually.
Overall, I'd come back for their scones again. -

a month agoLovely, easy accessible. I tried many scones but strawberry scone at Bharat is the best amongst all. Big portion with reasonable price. Pretty nice view, loving it here.

2 months agoNice place to halt, relax, and enjoy nature after long hrs of drive to Cameroon. Tea selections are very nice but too sweet as tea is prepared in local style using creamer and condensed milk. Food is yummy to enjoy in that weather, and if it rains, it transports you to some another level.
