Entry and play areas are really good and well kept for kids. My kids 8 & 6 had lots of fun and the places tries to teach children the value of money and reward. Lots of activites to cover from fireman, doctor, delivery, driving… you name it.
Now why i took one star off is that the workers there are very very slow and really seems like they are wasting time, and some of them really dont want to work here but they have to. The other reason is that there are 5 activites that needs booking time slots but guess what both kids need to be present at the booking (my kids tried to book 2 activites by splitting themseleves to cut time) but were told that both need to be present to book and when i asked..." in the last week"The “kids” routes upstairs have different difficulty levels as well and some can even be harder than the 5Cs downstairs. The walls are cute and look nice in photos.
There’s a relatively high auto-belay wall on the first floor, a small bouldering area and a speed wall. As a frequent climber, I didn’t enjoy the routes but that’s just a personal preference.
More suitable for high wall climbers who just wanna have a quick climb or for climbers who are bringing friends new to the sport.
There’s beanbags for lounging as well when resting in between climbs. Toilet wasn’t working when I was there, hopefully it’s been fixed now." View
Kek Lok Si Temple

in the last week"You can either walk or take the cable car to reach the top of the hill, where the guan yin statue is located.
One of the temples most impressed me is the Pagoda. The roof is full with the art of DunHuang murals and their walls are placed with thousands of golden Buddha statue. And the innermost placed few solemn, majestic and enormous statues of Buddha. You can also pray here and buy amulets inside the Pagoda.
The views from Kek Lok Si are picture perfect. Try to reach the top and take photos there!" View
Sia Boey Urban Archaeological Park

Where history whispers through each space,
I wandered on an evening's grace,
Amidst the remnants of time's embrace.
Once a vibrant hub, bustling and grand,
Sia Boey stood as Penang's heart, hand in hand,
A market square where cultures entwined,
Trade and life's tapestry uniquely aligned.
Now, a haven for those seeking respite,
Sia Boey Urban Archaeological Park, a delight,
Strolling amidst echoes of the past,
A tranquil escape from city's fast.
Ancient bricks and fragments worn,
Tell tales of eras since long gone,
As I sauntered beneath shaded trees,
Imagination danced with each gentle breeze.
The air hummed with a bygone tale,
Of merchants, artisans, a vibrant trail,

KL Bird Park

in the last week"Super place for kids to spend the day. Visited with my daughter who loved the birds and the bird show. Free roaming birds inside and other wildlife like monkeys, squirrels etc.
The highlight of the visit was the bird show lasting about 15 minutes but the tricks are spectacular. Other things to see are the chick hatchery, emu feeding and parrot aviary. The parrot enclosure is fun as they will descend on you if decide to you feed them (photo op alert !).
Public Wifi available at the restaurant and decent snacks / ice cream available in the park." View

Great place for kids and animal lovers. Went there to see the alpacas but was pleasantly surprised by the other animals that you can see, play with and interact with. The alpacas would probably be chilling with an air cooler though, so if you're there just for them, you can't touch them. lol.
Sometimes the animal keepers will let some of the animals out. There's a parrot that knows how to treat photo ops and will pose and spread its wings for you.
Fun." View

in the last week"Stayed at this Bentong Hot Spring resort on 10th July 2023 with my hubby for 2 days 1 night. The resort just re-opened and went back to operation during May 2023 after completed big renovation/refurbishment due to major damage caused by the major flood disaster somewhere around Dec 2021. Was very peaceful due to we selected non-peak season to stay here. Breakfast was awesome as they cooked for both of us nasi lemak with egg and fried chicken which was very delicious. Highly recommended staying here. Am really happy with the services provided by the resort staff." View
Cameron Lavender Garden

in the last week"The beautiful lavender garden around the town is one of 16 attractions in Cameron Highlands, located on top of the hill. A lot of lavender is planted in the courtyard, and there are many artistic decorations around the planting fields. There are also beautiful flowers and plants such as morning glory in the park, which can be used by tourists to take pictures. When you enter the door, you can see a large sea of flowers that is pleasing to the eye. When it's cool, save your friends and feel the beauty of nature, and enjoy the physical and mental relaxation brought by flowers, plants and trees. After visiting the park, you can also taste delicious strawberry cake and lavender ice cream in the restaurant." View

a week ago"Went during the June holidays and I booked the tickets through Klook before heading over. Overall a nice experience for family with kids. They will give out life jacket for everyone to wear as a safety precaution before boarding the boat. Just that the life jacket has a strong odor maybe due to poor maintenance. Another activity that they offer for family is to enjoy playing the fire sparks and 放天灯。Highly recommend you to book through Klook or you may miss the chance of getting onto the boat at your preferred timing. Saw a family who arrived trying to get tickets but were told to wait for the next trip which will be 1.5 hour later. Lots of space to park car if you are driving over. Also, they have a restaurant beside this park serving food." View
Desaru Fruit Farm

a week ago"We had a great time time at Desaru Fruit Farm!
I'd wanted to do an ATV tour and then add a walking tour if we felt up to it, but when we realized it was very similar in price to the Jeep tour, we just went for it.
Our guide was amazing - very knowledgeable and entertaining. My kids really enjoyed being around him and he was great about telling us about the different fruits and showing my kids how to pick them. We ended up with a full basket of fruit at the end. My kids also really enjoyed the petting zoo towards the end of the tour....lots of bunnies, goats, etc.
After the tour, our guide brought us back to the cafe and served us a full plate of fruit with watermelon juice.
I'd highly recommend a stop here!" View
