The Waterway Villa

a month ago"This is a good place for a relaxing retreat. The mountain view from the Hill Villa is stunning and refreshing. The room and the entire compound are very well maintained and clean. The staff service is commendable. Before our 1-night stay, I contacted the villa to arrange for vegetarian meals (aftenoon tea, dinner and breakfast) for my family of 5. The food was simple but really savoury. I also requested for 5 packs of fried rice to be taken away for our lunch on the day of checking-out and was only charged for RM30, which is a steal. As it turned out, this was the best vegetarian fried rice we have ever had. I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the city for a break to recharge." View

a month ago"This hike was very interesting and fun.
There is an entrance fee of RM2 per person and would need to register before hike.
There are alot of monkeys around.
As for parking, it is very limited and you have to park on the roadside. There isn't any designated parking space.
The forest is open for hike at 7am on Saturday.
This forest is well maintained and pretty straightforward to hike.
For a newbie like me, it took about 2 hours to hike up and down . In total of 4 hours. Pretty exhausted when I was hiking down.
I would like to hike again here.
Hope mu review helps to smooth planning ur hike." View

We came early so it wasn’t crowded yet. The drive up may be challenging to noob drivers but it was definitely enjoyable. You will need to walk up a flight of stairs from the parking but if you have elderly or challenge walking then they will specially allow you to drive all the way to the top. You can also buy all kinds of tea here even some exclusive ones that are only available here." View

Maybe coz MCO... but it's already been quiet some time already. Saw a few workers working but don't see them working on the abandoned facilities instead working on something new... the pond was amazing ecspecially for children. So many fish and turtle...
Hope the authorities can fix up this area ecspecially those abandoned facilities. Surely a lot more visitors will come" View
Sungai Chiling Fish Sanctuary and Waterfall

You can bring food but only until the registration area. Bag inspection were done before u can cross the river via a "hanging bridge". Smoking and vaping were not allowed.
I wish there were signs about the place rules at the very start. Feel bad for the parents who does the heavy lifting carrying all sorts of food. My advice is when arrived, find a spot to put your foods/ to picnic and then register. Don't take a lot of space because this is a public recreation area. Be mindful towards others. Or you can just enjoy the river stream at the registration area. U can still get surrounded by fishes here. Re..." View

Apart from the amazing way they are serving and empowering the local community, they have managed to create an oasis in the middle of the city. If you want to escape the noise and concrete jungle, this is the place! You are transported to a magical place with the most beautiful flowers and butterflies and plants of many kind. It was hard to leave (we were the last ones I think), and I can't wait to go back.
I'm so grateful to the founders and volunteers who strive to keep this place alive and teach us to care for all creation! All..." View

We just need to register our name at the guard house and entrance is free. Less than 3 minutes walking distance from the guard house to the main area. We were greeted with live turtles at the exterior of the centre. When we walked him, staffs offered to take our pictures. We spent a good 1 hour walking around seeing many colourful fishes and corals. Some were a first for us. As you walk out, you can purchase the previously taken photos. Overall, I would say its a place you can visit when you're in PD." View

a month ago"I had an amazing time at the amusement park, and it was truly a memorable experience. However, I don't think I'll be visiting again due to the high entrance fees, which I found quite pricey. On the bright side, the food prices were reasonable and in line with what you would expect at a standard amusement park.
One thing that stood out was the fantastic photographer who was available to capture our moments. The best part was that they let us download the pictures for free, which was a great bonus.
While most of the attractions were operational, there were a few that were not open yet or undergoing maintenance. Despite that, the major attractions that were available made waiting in line worthwhile.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but I don't think I'll ..." View

a month ago"I recently had the pleasure of attending a baking class at the ABC Cooking Studio, where I had the privilege of being taught by the amazing instructor, Aimee Tang. I must say, Aimee left a lasting impression on me with her exceptional skills and her generous nature.
Aimee's wealth of knowledge and years of hands-on experience were evident throughout the class. She shared valuable tips and techniques that she had acquired over the years, making the learning experience incredibly enriching. Her passion for baking shone through her teachings, and it was inspiring to witness her expertise in action.
What struck me the most about Aimee was her generosity in imparting her knowledge. Despite knowing that I was from overseas and unable to purchase a package since I’m holding m..." View
G2G Animal Garden

a month ago"I recently visited G2G Animal Garden in Serdang, Malaysia and had a wonderful time with my family. The garden offers a variety of animals to see, touch, and feed, including parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, deer, alpacas, ponies, and horses. The cat house is a favorite spot, filled with playful cats. It's a great place for family outings, although it may not be suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Overall, G2G Animal Garden provides an enjoyable and interactive experience for animal lovers of all ages.
Note: This review is based on my personal experience and the state of G2G Animal Garden during my visit in June 2023." View
