Johor Tanjung Piai National Park

Nicole Choo

"A paid to enter park. Priced differently for citizens and non citizen. Malaysians, please bring along your identification card to enjoy the citizen's benefit.

A place not to be taken lighly of. Not every country has this tip and Malaysia is lucky to have this. BE PREPARED TO WALK & BRING ALONG UMBRELLA/CAP. It can get quite hot when walking.

This national park mainly focuses on the swamp ecosystem and its biodiversity.

An educational place for GEOGRAPHY and BIOLOGY lovers. Good place to share with students/family&friends about the ecosystem that is around here.

Having 3 different pathways towards
1. The tip of the southern most mainland asia
2. The 3 jetty...u will be at the location of indonesia/singapore&malaysia
3. The fishing jetty

Tropical Fruit Farm

"This place is very nice! We got the package for the farm tour including fruits plate and juice. The tour took around 30-40min, the guide was very knowledgeable. We were very happy to see some of the trees for the first time, such as coffee, nutmeg and cinnamon! After the tour we went for the fruits enzyme and honey tastings. The coffee honey was so delicious! And at last, we got the fruits plate and the juice we chose from the many options they offer and went to their terrace tables to enjoy it with such a great view. The staff is so helpful and friendly, we loved the experience there and super recommend it!"   View

Sungai Chiling Fish Sanctuary and Waterfall

c ph (Pink Gardenia)

"It's refreshing and easy to walk into the fish sanctuary as you are walking on mostly flat muddy ground. There are streams and mini waterfalls on the right-hand side during the journey. Nice to stop over for a look and photography. It took less than 10 minutes to reach the point where you need to register your entrance. It was really a sight to be wowed as you approached the river side.....so many fishes swimming around and amongst the people! These fishes of mainly the 'kelah' varieties are not afraid of the people around. They were swimming around our legs as we were feeding them. The river here is not deep, so it is safe to swim and play, even for children. But, depending on the weather of that day.....especially rainy days are not allowed. This place is only open on weekends and..."   View

Seven Wells Waterfall

"Amazing off beat location 20 min walkable
Beneath the 7 wells
The legend says that this waterfall is home to fairies and that the water has healing powers. I kinda understand how the legend has started.

Seven Wells Waterfall or Jalan Telaga Tujuh as it’s called by locals, is probably one of the island’s most beautiful natural attractions.

The waterfall flows down the second highest mountain on Langkawi – Mount Mat Cincang and is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. The total vertical fall is 91-meters long but from the base you can only see a small part of it."

Rabbit Farm Bukit Tinggi

"I last visited this place in 2015 and there were many more animals back then and the place looked lively. Now there are only a few rabbits, ducks, birds and hamsters which all looked pretty miserable to be there.

The rabbits are in a small enclosure looking terrorised because they’re being chased by young children and have nowhere to run or hide. The birds are in cages which were full of their own droppings. The animals there deserve better treatment than this.

What are visitors paying to see exactly? And where is the ticket money going to? This is very disgraceful for Malaysian tourism."

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre

"Our family visit to the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre in June 2023 was a brilliant blend of learning, crafting, and tasty treats. The tour, led by the knowledgeable and warm Ms Chan, provided us with a seamless and insightful journey into the world of pewter.

A standout experience was the "Schools of Hard Knocks" workshop, excellently facilitated by Mr Hafiz. His guidance allowed our children to craft their own pewter bowls, which was both educational and fun, making the experience truly unforgettable.

Even with so much to offer, the tour fits conveniently into a 1-2 hour slot, making it a perfect day trip for all ages. We wrapped up our visit at The Cafe, where we enjoyed delicious coffee and pastries, the perfect end to a memorable day.

Overall, the Royal Se..."

"(Updated review)
Either come very early or much later; came in between and the roadside parking were all the way far from the venue, bottleneck occurred and have to reverse all the way for the earlier visitors to exit

Monkeys came out during this visit, to maintain safe distance or use zoom during photography session; loved their facial expressions

Hanging bridge was closed during the last visit but we may still hike our way to the other side;

Glad to observe some special plants too;
Well shaded inside & a good workout visit indeed

(Initial review)
Convenient parking spaces, whether along the roadside or even the proper bays

The only female toilet is shared by all genders; Thankful for this convenient place to relieve ourselves an..."

99 Wonderland Park - Wildlife In The City

"what a garbage place. paid rm55 (mykad) and rm80 (non my kad), all we get is the entrance to this place. cruise, train, ferris wheel all need to be paid separately.

we would be ok if the place is running well, but it seems to run half heartedly, a lot of basic things barely function, such as feeding foods of the animals sold separately but only take cash despite having a sign that says we only take digital payment. too hard to set up a tng qr code?? the crocodile feeding shows I could forgive that the crocodile doesn't want to come out of the water, but i would appreciate it more if they aren't starting the feeding 20 minutes late. such incompetence. 8pm waited until 820 for it to start. and after a lackluster feeding, we went to watch the supposed light and water musical water..."

National Zoo Malaysia

"Bought the tickets from the Klook- 10% cheaper than walk-in. Arrived at 850. Parked at parking A. No queue at all at either walk-in or online ticket booths. Managed to enter at 855 (despite the official opening hour being 9 am). Started by going left where we were met by hundreds of flamingo, followed by a giraffe and a pair of tapirs. Next were tigers and lions. The highlight of the tour was of course the panda site. Arrived at about 10 am. No crowd. Managed to see only 2 pandas. Spent about 25 minutes there. Didn't manage to see the animal show as it's at 11 am which I think it's not practical to make it either you enter from gate A or B (unless you arrive at the zoo at 11am). Exited at around 1230. Overall it's a very good experience. And i personally think there is no need to take t..."   View

Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia

yusuf mohideen

"The art was exquisite! A lot of representation of the Arab world painted by travellers from the west who went to visit North Africa and the gulf for artistic inspiration. It was also beautiful to see ancient Malay embroidery and an art piece where the entire Quran was written onto a fabric. Some parts of the museum were still under development such as the outdoor dome area as well as the courtyard garden which was unfortunate because it looked really pretty from outside. I also recommend getting some souvenirs from the gift shop because surprisingly they were quite cheap, cheaper than some stalls at petaling street!"   View
