Lata Perahu Waterfall

IBRAHIM ALAMOUDI

"Firstly, it's important to note that this is not a water park, but rather a small waterfall. The size of the waterfall is quite small, making it challenging to find a good spot to set up. Additionally, there aren't any nearby services available. The road leading to the waterfall is also quite narrow.

Moreover, there is only one tent available for all visitors, which can make it difficult to find a comfortable spot to rest. We found this to be quite inconvenient, as there were a number of visitors during our visit.

Furthermore, we had a negative experience with the owner who was quite rude to us. Despite the description in google maps stating that the waterfall closes at 6pm, the owner approached us and asked us to leave before 5pm. We found this to be quite unwelcoming..."

Lata Hammer (Perting) Waterfall

Azman Ahmad

"Lata Hammer Waterfall -
Situated at Lembah Perting in the District of Bentong, Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia.
It's also known as 'Perting Falls' @ 'Perting Pandak Waterfall'. A waterfall with a white sandy beach, good sightseeing, peaceful place, serene and quite crowded. Nice place to chill and take a dip in a large pool with crystal clear and clean water. Worth it, cool and refreshing surrounded by the greeneries forest.
You can reach there by 4wd, bike, cycle or hike/walk. The distance is about 2km with the duration around 1.5hours ++ (two-way/ascent and descent). There's a few challenges, walk on dirt road/track, crossing the small river and hike up to the waterfall/camping site.
Be careful during the raining season and avoid swim near to the waterfall due to safety ..."

"SHOCKING ATTITUDE TO SAFETY, AVOID!!!

I was at the Beast Park obstacle course yesterday for my 9 year old nephew’s birthday. One 9 year old boy in the group tripped over diagonal floor bars at high speed (speed built up needed to get through final obstacle) and hit his head on the metal bar wall. Up to that point we had thought that the floor and wall bars were padded with foam, but realised then that they were cold hard steel bars.

The boy suffered a huge and deep gash to his head near his eye that had to be held together and was bleeding profusely. There were screams at the sight of the horror of his open wound, and he was rushed to the hospital.

After the boy was rushed to hospital, we fed back to staff that the bars should have been padded and suggested th..."

Healthy Strawberry Farm, Brinchang

Yoshi Abe

"This family with two kids enjoyed strawberry picking here a lot, after going to Big Red with no picking available. Healthy felt like a real farm, with a lot of strawberry fields (behind doors that say “Don’t Enter”?), different berry types (Korean/Japanese etc) and friendly staff. Our expectation was not very high when we saw the old reception area and some construction, but the actual strawberry fields hidden in the back were very good! If you want to visit a genuine, a bit dirty and less touristy/polished/busy farm like us, this place is a good choice. We will be back. Official parking space very limited, but can park on street. Just like any other self-picking, go in the morning before good strawberries are gone ???We went at 9:30am, Saturday, late April."   View

Cameron Lavender Garden

"The admission tickets are RM20 for adults and RM10 for kids respectively which is expensive to be honest. Parking spaces are quite limited so you have to hope you are lucky upon arrival.

There are many varieties of beautiful flowers here for photo lovers to enjoy. The ice-cream is quite expensive but you could try the strawberry or lavender soft cream (RM8) as they are a delight. For those who love picking and eating strawberry, there is a strawberry farm here where a basket (200g limit per basket = RM12) can be shared between 2 people.

The place isn’t very big so it should take you no more than 2 hours to explore everything. You can buy food, souvenirs, and plants before heading to the exit but everything is expensive. Some would say the place is overpriced and overra..."

Raju's Hill Strawberry Farm

"This place is like 3 in one. You can explore and pick your own strawberries. Parents might find this great for keeping kids busy.

If you're not the picking type or your kids are too cool for selfies in the plantation, you buy strawberries already picked. They are so delicious, I'm not normally keen on strawberries as they tend to be hit or miss on taste and in need of icing sugar. Not these. They have sweetness built-in. In terms of quality, it's definitely better than the supermarket. Also on sale is strawberry jam and strawberries with cream or honey.

If that doesn't do it for you, then head straight to the cafe for drinks, strawberry cake, and chocolate and strawberry. There's plenty of under cover outdoor seating.

On another occasion, we tried the Hot Stra..."

Jadi Batek - Batik Handicraft Gift Class

"If you are looking for a fun and unique experience to do while traveling in Kuala Lumpur, this workshop is highly highly recommended. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching us the techniques of Batek painting. They provided us with all the necessary materials, including the tote bags, paint, brushes, and template design, to trace.

The class began with a brief introduction to Batek painting, then, we were given the template design to trace onto the tote bag, which was a great starting point for those of us who were new to Batek painting. The instructors were on hand to help us with any questions or issues that we had during the tracing process.

Once we had traced the design, we were shown how to mix the paint and use the brushes to ..."

Museum of Royal Malaysian Customs Department

"We spontaneously visited this museum and were pleasantly surprised to hear there's no entrance fee. With that in mind, we also didn't expect the museum to be fairly big and well displayed.

It offers a mix of the history and former tools of the custom department. And it shows confiscated items such as helmets, weapons, religious clothing and more. Although it doesn't always explains why an item is confiscated (like the motor helmets), it's very interesting.

It gives you an cultural insight as so many items won't be confiscated in an European country for example. And it makes you realise that in the end, all customs from all over the world, are working with the same goal.

We enjoyed our visit. Even our kids did, although there are no children's activities. They..."

Dino Gym

"Decently fun for a kid. Better suited for older kids who can play independently.

I didn't like how the adults were not allowed to accompany the kids within the various areas, unlike other playgrounds.

On top of the numerous signages reminding parents that adults are not allowed into the play areas, the entrances are designed to be very tiny to reinforce this point.

In the event of any accident happening, I'm not entirely sure how we would get the kids out to safety. With the tiny entrances and cramped play areas, do we send in other kids to bring the affected kids out? ?"
