"I run a 3 acre hospitality facility and let me tell you, the work they do here I wouldn't dare to attempt.

Sure there are shortcomings, but if you are in the know, the level of work and effort that goes in to make the place what it is, is nothing short of a miracle.

Services are exceptional, food is good, while prices are high from a purely consumer pov, from within the industry, considering what I paid, I wouldn't have been able to charge the same and call it profitable.

"It's a very big recreational park. It's probably not worth the perfect score of 5, but it's definitely one of the best in Ipoh. It has a huge field, it has cement areas, it has a big playground, it has exercise equipment, it has long and short tracks for jogging and breeze walking. It has nice ponds and big trees. You will see people exercising early in the morning. Every evening, there will also be big crowds. On weekends, the crowd could get bigger. Family outings. For the kids to run around. You can play balls, fly kites, ride bikes... There are food stalls normally during the evening periods, mostly Malay food. At the side of the field, there are usually someone who sell toys like kites, bubble guns, balls."   View

"The park has re-open for public since cmco 2.0. Unfortunately the closing hour is not following the time stated on the notice at the entrance gate. Based on the notice, park will close at 10.00pm. Sadly, staff on duty will chase people out (most time rudely) by 8.30pm or earlier whichever at their own convenient. On several occasions vehicles of the employees at the near by offices were locked in the park due to this issue. MBPJ should monitor closely the behavior of their employees on duty at the park."   View

"Nice gallery but the signage to Gallery Cheng Ho (Zheng He) can be improved. The signs in the main musuem point to Gallery Cheng Ho but in fact Gallery Cheng Ho is in a separate building that is not connected to the main building.

To access Gallery Cheng Ho, need to go to the garden area and find the white Cheng Ho statue first. Then, take the stairs on the right side for the entrance to the Gallery.

Other than the signages, the musuem is very well equipped and descriptions of the historic events are clear."   View

"Visited on a Wed morning. Little crowd. Nice, cooling place to spend 30 mins to 1 hour exploring. Need RM 20 for non Malaysians. Has 2 floors, ground and upper. There are also sub sections to explore once you come down from the 2nd floor before existing. Partially air conditioned, very cooling.

Whole place is made of wood. Need to take off shoes to enter, nice wooden floor to walk. History of Melaka and Hang Tuah stories on display. Has wooden chairs to rest too. Good pitstop to visit between Famosa and Jonker Street, worth the ticket price."   View

"Temurun Waterfalls by far is the best waterfall in Langkawi. We went there last week, it was rainy but no lightning with plenty of water we could enjoy swimming around the pool. The pool is shallow and safe even for small kids. On the downside, I'm disgusted with the amount of rubbish around the area. The facilities also worn out, it looks like the authority didn't do any maintenance work. What a shame. The toilet didn't work, some part of the stairs is badly damage. Langkawi authority please wake and do your work."   View

"Need some stamina to climb staircase, not so suitable for those who have legs problem, however the views inside are astonishing. Worth every ringgit spent walking and climbing staircase from Platform 1 to 5 with RM12 per entry for an adult, it took about 2 hours walking slowly and taking multiple photos. The air inside might be a bit thin, wearing mask might be a bit uncomfortable. The wet trip looks nice but will be cancelled if raining due to safety concern. Hope to try the wet activities next time."   View

"No line for tickets on a weekend but we came early. Avoided the crowd by avoiding bird feeding times, but generally not too bad.

The paths were a bit steep at areas and slightly slippery because it was after the rain. They had closed one of the paths that was stroller friendly and we had to carry the stroller up the stairs as there were no alternatives if we didn’t want to turn back. I think this was an oversight as the other areas of the park were fine and it was otherwise quite pleasant to walk around.

Birds looked healthy and well cared for, and there were a large variety of beautiful birds that were easily spotted. Wasn’t uncommon to see birds flying around and swooping nearby. Aviary was quite clean.

"Stayed two nights and had a very mixed experience. Overall, I would say the staff are great, positive, friendly and welcoming with a few exceptions. The rooms are nice and some great touches, like mini robes for kids and kids size sink. The kids loved the whole themed room. The breakfast was basically inedible. It was awful. No live egg station. I consider that a basic. So much cheap deep fried food. The cereals were poor quality, high sugar and not recognizable. The juices were flavoured, computed water. The food in the park was similar, mostly deep fried, fast food with not a healthy option in sight. It’s Malaysia, so I’m surprised, they couldn’t even offer satay!! The parks were good and kids had a great time. But they don’t open till 10am. Makes me wonder if anyone involved with thi..."   View

"Came here to purposely let my kids experience and see the actual submarine up close. There is none as far as I know at any other places in Malaysia. Pretty easy to find the place. It's an isolated tourist spot about 2km from town. Nothing much nearby.

The charges are inexpensive - RM5 for kids and RM10 for adults Malaysian. Foreigner different charges. Besides the submarine, there are 2 retired jets as well. You can enter into the submarine to view some parts of the ship. Once you are inside, it's quite a tight space. At least we normal people can experience the feel being on board. The operator should have install more air conditioning unit if not fan to improve the hot and humid conditions inside for more conducive viewing. Anyway you wouldn't stay long inside.
