National Zoo Malaysia

Mohd Nasiruddin Mohd Nasir

"Nice outing with the young ones. Once in a while you should visit the zoo with the kids, to educate them the importance of wild life. Some animals are facing extinction without proper conservation.
Today however it began to rain so the visit was cut short as we have toddlers with us. Tickets will be cheaper if bought online. For senior citizens, tickets only available at the counters at the premise.
Food and drinks are on the high side in the zoo, bring in water as its quite a walk.
Also be aware of the buggies and trams whilst walking. If you're with senior citizens that cannot walk for too long, better take these transport to view the zoo, payable, of course."

Ä“RYAbySURIA Private Hot Spring Bentong

Abdul Muin Yusoff

"Perfect get away. Hot spring relaxing muscle. Environment clean. Room very spacious. Pool until 10pm and open very early in the morning after dusk.
However just 1 constructive honest comment. Room 109 floor trap at the shower is clogged. Make 3 time report yo the maintenance verbally. But no action taken. Maintenance just told me to pull the floor trap myself. The floor trap is stuck and sharp like blade. After a few times trying I give up. Not going to injured my own hand. Cross contamination of the flooded water at the shower room gets out to the dry area of the bath room. Please be serious of customer's report. Thanks. Overall 4 out of 5."

Botanical Garden (Taman Botani)

"Taman Botani in Putrajaya is one of the many recreational parks here. The place is adorned with Astaka Morocco, a restaurant, many elevated wooden walkway, bridges, a lake and many more attractions. I manage to walk just a bit of the huge park. It is full of greens, big old trees, flowers and all kinds of plants. Some are named, too.
Visitors can also rent bikes to be used in the park. Some of the areas in the park are quite hilly but there are many pit stops to rest and then start again.
The park is absolutely beautiful and many visitors just sit around and have picnics, walking along the lake and playing games.
On the weekends, the park is swarmed with visitors and I love going there on the weekdays where there is not many people around.
During this Covid 19, SOP and p..."

"There is a small coffee house name Kopi Hutan here. Small area but nice atmosphere in the wood. 2km from the main area at the top, can take a walk to there or you can pay buggy ride with a guided tour along the way. They also provided a pickup transfer in and out for free for customers, just ask around near the buggy area, look for pickup truck with Kopi Hutan banner at the back. Menu wise is limited, price a bit high, taste ok. Good aroma for coffee and the cake is nice. Service is good but can be improve more. The monkey cup garden next to kopi hutan requires fee to entre."   View

KL Bird Park

"We love this place much. This place is huge. You can get close with the birds as they roaming around. There are few toilets and very clean. Surau provided at the main entrance next to ticket counter. There are also small kiosk selling beverages, snack and ice cream. You may need around 2 - 3 hours to tour around. Once you buy the ticket, they will give a map. The bird show is at 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Don't miss this show & definitely you'll love it. Feeding parrot is RM2 each. Meanwhile, for fish, you need 50 cent coin. But you may want to buy more as its really not much. You may change the 50 cent coin at nearby kiosk. Wear conformable shoes as you need to walk a lot. The entrance ticket for Malaysian is RM25 for adult and RM6 for child (3-11 years old) and senior citizen. Operation hou..."   View

The Habitat Penang Hill

Evelyn Wong

"Only recently opened in 2019 and The Habitat at Penang Hill is already a recommended tourist destination when you visit Penang, and for very good reasons. Located 800m above sea level, The Habitat provides you a distinct and clear view of Penang, Penang Bridge, it's coastal waters, and a view of it's the mainland.

There is a 10 floor parking building beside the base of Penang Hill that can accommodate approximately 120 cars. This is more or less the only place you can park at if you decide to drive to Penang Hill.

To get to The Habitat, you will need to buy funicular tickets up. It's the journey UP and BACK DOWN with the funicular which is the most frustrating, as it can take up to 45-minutes to an hour just to wait for the funicular. I would strongly recommend buying ..."

Ulu Bendul Recreational Park

Midnight Soul

"It's a safe place for family with children as the stream is shallow. Free entrance and free parking.
There's a cemented area to sit around after the entrance but maybe too hot.
Inside, the stream has many pools with cleaner water. There's an open field for gatherings. Picnics can be held easily under trees. Beware of a few brave monkeys. Toilets inside is dirty. Cafe at the entrance has clean toilets. About 15 minutes walk inside there's a water catchment with staircase of flowing water resembling a mini waterfall. No actual waterfall, perhaps very high up into the forest. Many little fish and even some little prawns hiding between rocks. That's how clean the water is.
Proper pathway ends at Trailhead of Gunung Angsi. Hiking up mountain needs to pay RM5. Hiking up seems toug..."

Taman Tasik Shah Alam

Imran AH

"I have been to many lakes and parks and I have to say that Taman Tasik Shah Alam is easily one of my favourite few.
The highlights are the following
1. Very extensive kids playground with challenge tracks and sets
2. Kayaking/boating is possible at a cost
3. Boat trips at reasonable cost (Adults -RM8 and kids - RM5) per one trip.
4. Canopy walk (elevated bridges and pathways)
5. Nice round tracks around the lake
It is a lovely place to have a nice break and enjoy early mornings, afternoon or evenings."
