Introduction
Literally translated as “Mirror Lake”, Tasik Cermin is a pristine oasis that’s mysteriously tucked deep within one of the clusters of limestone hills in Ipoh. The lake's glassy reflection of the hills is how it got its name, Mirror Lake.
What to Expect?
A 20-minute drive from Ipoh’s historic heart, Tasik Cermin is situated in Gunung Rapat, an industrial area on the city’s periphery. Until a few years ago, the location was an active quarry. Fortunately quarrying has ceased, making it safer to visit.
Right by the lake you can find a steel platform, possibly built by previous quarry company, for visitors to enjoy the scenery at the lake. Visitors can just sit down, close their eyes and listen to the sounds of nature, making it a perfect sanctum for meditation. The lake view is surreal and we recommend this place for nature lovers.
Note: Google Maps and Waze would only bring u somewhere nearby but not to its exact location, which is still about a kilometer inside. You might want to try these coordinates (4.559169, 101.119575).

a week agoNice quick tourist spot. Views are pretty awesome!
Did not partake in the river cruise but I’m sure it would of added to the experience!
There doesn’t seem to be much wind at the lake so it gets hot really quick! Be prepared! -

3 months agoPerfect for natural lovers. The lake is so peaceful, with just minimal wave as if it looked like natural mirror.
There’s entry fees, with RM4 per Malaysian, and RM8 for foreigners. I think it’s reasonable because they had built a covered public toilet, provide proper car park space, and most importantly they maintain the place well.
The views were alright but the place was simply too tiny for the huge crowd. I thought there will be at least a park or something else. The other free entrance temple/ cave have more things to see.Highly recommend to visit during weekday?? -

in the last weekMore attractions yet to come. Hope they can keep up with the facilities in this place such as proper toilets etc. The rock tunnel led to the lake was quite impressive. Didn't take the boat tour presume it is well worth it.
