A'Famosa Water Theme Park

"The last time i came here was 26 years ago. It was a trip with friends during our teenage years.

This time i brought my wife and kids. The kids enjoyed it, especially the 2 youngest aged 7 and 4. The 2 elder ones are aged 14 (boy) and 11 (girl).

There are several attractions, Ice Cream. Family Raft, Inner Pool, High Speed slide for adults. Only one of the two high speed slides were open.

For kids - Arabian pool and another one I can't remember what its called. The Arabian pool looked not-maintained. Some slides were broken and cordoned off with just plastic tapes. The other one was nice and looked rather new, which the two younger ones enjoyed very much.

For the whole family there's the Wave pool and Lazy river. Wave pool was nice, we all liked it. Bu..."

Wonder Food Museum

Malar Arunachalam
in the last week

"Visited as a family and we Ioved it. The founder has to be applauded for his effort in bringing this to Malaysia, and what better city than Penang, with its famous food. The displays are very life-like and artistically created indeed. I appreciated how the word play on the walls got us thinking about many different aspects of food, which otherwise appear to be just another part in our everyday life. A minimal fee for entry, with a gift shop and in house photographer too. Nothing interactive though, only to please, sight and mind and possibly tummy, for some."   View

Kid's E World Gardens Mall

"This is my favourite indoor playground so far. Entry fee is very reasonable.
Everything is lovely and clean. The little on-site café makes the most delicious Nasi Lemak and tasty waffles. I will bring my little one again soon.
Room for little improvement, the Aircon is extremely cold so do bring a cardigan for your visit.
The one trampoline (in the middle of the room) is very worn, perhaps the springs can be replaced for safety.
The play kitchen next to the entrance could do with some play food and pots and pans to make it more fun for the kids to play with.

All in all we really enjoyed our visit and will be back real soon.

If you are going, try park in parking U.
If you park in Midvalley then go to second floor and there's a bridge that joins with ..."

The Huskitory Melaka

"Waste of money to be honest. RM35 just for entry.....i have to buy snacks which was RM2 for a tiny pack of kibbles. I personally have a husky and also other breed of dogs but the staff was talking to me like I was dumb as if i didnt know how to interact with the dogs. The dogs are cute but I feel like they aren't well fed clearly they were very food motivated giving me the impression they were starving. I feel bad for the dogs, they were just show animals to generate profit. 2 stars to support the dogs but none for such business and mindset to abuse the poor pets."   View

Raju's Hill Strawberry Farm

"Strawberry plucking 0.5kg a basket now costs RM40. Still fun to do with family. Plucking done at farm slightly uphill. No guide, just choose the prettiest ones. The slope at the farm can be steep, coz just brown soil. After weighing, do your own washing of strawberries at a common basin outside. (just 1 basin). Then at a cafe next door, if you want chocolate to go with strawberry, they sell in jar (like strawberry jar) at RM15. Ask for your own plates, ask for spoon. Strawberry is perfect with sweet chocolate."   View

Serendah Recreational Waterfall

"Presently surprised by this place, my first time here though I have been to Serendah countless times. Heard this place is managed by the 'orang asli' here. Nice serene surroundings, partly shaded with trees. The waterfalls are rather low but the water was swift and powerful. There is a pool below the waterfalls, looked deep and rather inviting for a swim. The water was clear and clean but not that cold. There are several man made pools for children as well as adults to play in them. Toilets facilities are available but you have to pay to use them. There are several pavilions which are good for shade and picnic areas."   View

BOH Tea Centre

"No real access to the plantation itself. The drive to the viewpoint is a bit chaotic. The road towards the centre was not maintained as it should. Even though we were here on a Tuesday when traffic is expected to be lighter, it was right and congested. So I would avoid coming here during peak season. Having said this, the viewing point structure was nicely build. It was airy and provides a good view of the plantation. The toilets needs to be better maintained and cleaned though. There is also no toilet paper provided and some of the taps were broken. Having been here, I don’t think we’ll come back. Will probably check out the other plantations and probably some less well known and more exclusive trails!"   View

Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir

"It’s a great park to exercise, take a walk, have a picnic and take your kids to! They have an extensive pathway, plus various stopping points by the massive pond in the middle. They’ve also got table booths/canopy’s where you can just sit and relax, or chat with friends. They’ve also got a few furry friends around the compound and park, so bring some cat food for the feline friends!

The downside however is that some of the paths have cracks in them and some are even destroyed due to the movement of the ground during construction works. So it may be dangerous for kids who like to run around, so parents may need to be extra careful of their children."

Tropicana Aman Central Park

"A decent basketball court with different groups playing. Just too many kids playing in the playground on weekends Very nice view and the trail was pleasant to walk around.

I do wish the water catchment area/river/lake is not that smelly and the rubbish cans are emptied more frequently. You won't want to do picnic there. No, you can't see if there is fish living in the water at all.

They don't have handicapped parking and the barrier is not wide enough to let wheelchair pass through.

Overall, it's a decent park."

"What more can you ask when the very existence of scenic views are right in front of your eyes, an abundant of fresh air, exceptionally peaceful environment, lots of greenery the closest mother nature has to offer, a place to work out; whether its running, jogging, walking or having a ride on a bike and most importantly its free.

Here's a perfect place for the family to get together to enjoy each others company either on a weekend or holidays. Put away your phones for once and enjoy the scintillating time without interference. You'll be amazed with the beauty it has to offer.

I enjoyed coming here so much and will never stop coming. For once I won't complaint.

For those who has yet to give it a try, put on your shoes and get your butts out, do not be hesitant t..."
